CloseAnd... it's been about 3 days. So this is actually one of the slower rates of posting in RMN mafia history :)
Yup, Yup. That plans sounds really good. The insane doctor might screw us over if we're unlucky, but that's the only draw back I can see for now, the mafia can't frame anyone so I'm happy! I won't make this go on any longer than it needs to.

Hmmm ivory cancelled, so we have 5 votes right now. Next post will probably be hammer, so I guess I'll have to settle on a nulltell on everybody...

"The choice should be clear," the most experienced doctor said, shuffling his papers. "He had the motive, means, and method. It all comes together. It's time we start this investigation in earnest." However, even though Doc Zeuzio seemed altogether convinced, the rest of the suspects stared at him, and he began to get uneasy.
"Wasn't this guy supposed to dead?"
"I'm pretty sure he was supposed to be dead."

The shot made everyone in the room shake.
And blood splattered the wall behind Zeuzio.

There was a terrible silence over the room afterwards, but quickly, a vampire Doctor took command of the situation. "Alright, that's enough! We're putting this whole building on lockdown, nobody gets out."
The cat doctor seemed worried. "Shouldn't we all be where everyone can see us?"
And then, all of a sudden, the lights went out.
Night 1 has started! Get your night actions in before 24 hours or they will be forefeit!

"Maybe. But the ambassador that was killed was headed for the Kyoto summit. But with the robo-ambassador deactivated, I doubt they'll hesitate to use extreme measures. We have to stop this threat now, or else we can say goodbye to ogling nur- I mean, being a doctor. and being alive. Both of those. those things. And nothing else."
Day 2 Begins. It ends 12 PM EST on Friday.
With ten alive, it takes six to lynch.

OMFG! Guys, someone tried to kill me last night! I managed to save myself (open heart surgery on oneself is kinda hard) but holy shit, they threw a freakin' acupuncture needle into my heart! So I guess Sanity-wise that makes me either:
Sane, Odd, Insane, CPR or Bodyguard.
It's ruled out Naive, Even and Paranoid.
Seems we do get information on ourselves and some flavour text (it was about three short paragraphs long). Also, thinking about it, because I didn't die after being attacked, and there were no other deaths, I might be CPR. If that's so, I won't try and protect anyone else during the night phases - even myself.
This way I can be of use by being an extra vote for town as well as take the place of someone else during a night kill, giving the proper doctors better use. After all, who is mafia most likely to gun for - someone who may be protected or someone who isn't?

He's been redeaded. I saw him being alive in this thread, so I figured he was a zombie and had to put him down. He'll be revived as a human if town wins. But if town doesn't win, he gets replaced with a clone of me.

Well I’ve got no reason to doubt you Liberty and, in my opinion it makes sense that they would kill you, you’re generating the most discussion and in my point of view, seem the most town aligned.
But I don’t think you can be the bodyguard Liberty, it says that: “you take the kill for the person you protect” meaning, if you protected yourself AND were the bodyguard, you would have definitely still died. You could be any of the other three though, and I don’t think we’re gonna learn anything more from that night, but we didn’t lose anything either, so it’s a success.

Yeah, if you read the rest of my post you'll see I figure I'm the CPR doctor, since no-one else died, mafia has one shot per night and as I was attacked, it's very much unlikely that anyone else was. That means that I must have been CPR, otherwise I'd have killed myself or someone else would have died.
Good thing Ivory came up with the protect ourselves plan or I might be dead or responsible for someone else's death! Now we know that I can't protect anyone reliably, I shall withdraw from the protection detail.
This of course means that I don't expect anyone else to protect me tonight as it would leave more reliable doctors unprotected and it's best we keep them protected as long as possible.

Other than insane and CPR, still can't fathom how you've come up with the others.
Iunno liberty. Since they know that you're CPR, you're probably the target this night again since they can't risk you protecting them if they feel threatened or something.

First I ruled things out: Naive, Even and Paranoid.
- I didn't die from the attack, so that ruled out Naive - which is an ineffective doctor.
- It's not an Even night so I wouldn't have been able to protect myself on an Odd nigh.
- Whoever Paranoid doctors protect are untouchable for the night since they're locked away and can't use their powers. I was the only one in my room and it obviously wasn't locked since a mafia got in to take a shot at me, so that ruled out Paranoid.
I was mistaken by Bodyguard, thinking it was like a bulletproof ability, so that's why I listed it as a possibility.
So that left Sane, Odd, Insane or CPR.
- Well, since I managed to protect myself I could have been Sane.
- If I were Evens I wouldn't have protected myself last night, it being night one, one being an odd number - so that could have made me possibly Odd.
- Insane has half a chance of protection, so I could have been that too.
- CPR is quite obvious - I was attacked, didn't die and no-one else died during the night. All signs point to CPR because of this.

If Gourd protects you, Lib, and you don't protect anyone, then Dude is at high risk of being killed.
That's why I said, don't waste a protection on me. That way the important doctors are more likely to be covered. Chances are that if I protect someone they'll be killed, so it's better if I don't and this way I can draw the mafia attention away from the important doctors. They're more likely to take a stab at me, than attack someone they can't be sure is protected.

I know my plan is the best guys, really, *does a miss beauty pageant hand wave*, but please say something more constructive, like if you were the one being attacked or not, just to confirm if anyone would cc liberty.
