I might be inclined to agree with you if not for the fact that we get the vast majority of our oil resources from non-OPEC nations like Mexico and Canada, or if we also didn't have oil reserves of our own outside of OPEC authority, or if American oil corporations like Exxon didn't have skyrocketing profits for the last several years as the price consumer pay at the pump has doubled.
So, do forgive my lack of actually researching this -- but is the reason oil is getting so expensive because the oil companies here are wanting more money? I mean, as much as I'd hate to say it, but why not have the government do something to freaking limit the cost that an oil company can put on things. I hate government stepping in, but it's getting annoying...

These are a couple of things i have started to do and it's been working really well so far.
1. I have been buying my food in Bulk lately. When buying chicken and such i will use what i need for that night and freeze it.
2. A lot of the time i won't eat that much so i will still have plenty of food left over. It's easy just to not throw it out and keep it for leftovers so i can use it the next night.

umm saving food is quite easy. yeah yu got the damn canned foods. but theres also the MRE's that military uses.. ::)

He definitely means smoking it. Even if they made a car that could run off of pot, they'd smoke it instead of driving... Or you know, if they were really creative they'd put the exhaust pipe INSIDE the vehicle. But I seriously doubt that'd make it very far in the legal world.

And it actually can be used as fuel. It's apparently more efficient than corn as biofuel.
