PHOENIX MAFIA: ONLINE TURNABOUT
Posts
Perhaps this is being a bit meta, but I'm the prosecutor and I can be as meta as I please. Trying to get a feel for the game, I've gone over past mafia threads and one common element where Caveman and YM are both playing, Caveman always starts trouble with YM. In Suikoden Mafia, he even successfully swayed the lynch vote; the second lynch. It's just as likely that knowing that that tactic worked last time, he really isn't mafia and is just trying to get YM lynched at the outset. That said, YM was fairly good at ignoring and disregarding Caveman's absurdia. That this time around, YM is actually dancing with Caveman's comments, is enough to raise suspicions, at the very least. It'll be worth observing their playstyle.
ALRIGHT, NOW IS ON!
Well, normally in this situation I would either accuse Yellow Magic or CAVE_DOG, but past history has taught me that their posts are probably just product of their incomphrensible rivalary. So I'll just wait and see if something more suspicious appears.

excuse me, me and the piano are the only ones who can object here
and I move
to summon Polly the Parrot to the witness stand.

In all seriousness, the defence is ready. is the piano ready to rock?
Anyway, I feel like YM and Cave's behaviour is pretty typical of Mafia games-- I'm not ready to jump onto a lynch just yet. We haven't seen all the evidence just yet, and it's our duty to make sure Mr. Peabody's killers see justice.
I mean what kind of attorney would I be if I just randomly went around pointing my finger at witnesses, right?

Excuse me, but I've just found this Red Herring! If there are no OBJECTIONS! I plan on eating it.
I wish the instantaneous blasting of Yellow and Cavedog could stop; but whatever. It's day one.
So, is Piano the lawyer and Liberty the defence? -goes back to read op-

If Mr. Piano and Ms. Puddor are ready, then I will hear opening statements at this time.
Wow, confused, and it was kyrsty, not libby. My bad.
There was no way I was passing up having a Phoenix Wright avatar while being a defense attorney.
(I still remember everyone using PW avatars during the original bout-- I was Maya in that one).
Now, just like the real Phoenix I have a slew of magical powers including shoving a jade swirl in your face and falling 50 feet into a river and surviving, but only the second one applies to mafia.

Still, my avatar is way more cooler than yours, Puddor. >:D

So...twelve players, right? Which means only a handful of flavours. Does everyone have a flavour, or are there regular citizens among the masses?
Actually, wait-- Isieri, if I pick a mafia member as my client, am I unable to objection vote? I mean a repeat of the Matt Engarde trial isn't ideal but the truth is the most important thing here. Will I get a penalty if I do that...?

Should you exhibit poor judgement in choosing a client, your abilities still operate as normal.

This is a court of law!

S-sorry...I'll control myself.
Good to know, though.
I'd change my avatar
but nah
Oh and hey! Just woke up, and already, +20 posts. It's only gonna get worse from here, I'm sure. My poor Notice box will be in shambles by the time we're done!

OBJECTION! Yellow Magic knows that Yellow Magic is innocent. On the other hand, CAVE_DOG is guilty.
##lynch CAVE_DOG_IS_BACK
Aha, but how would you know you were innocent, unless you knew who was guilty? Checkmate, yellow magic.
Yellow Magic, you flip two coins. One of them comes up heads. What is the probability that the other coin comes up heads?
