MY SCREENSHOT IS BIGGER THAN YOURS!

MASSIVE POST
All of these are from the second mission in 1873.
New title screen, It's a quicky in photoshop on the macs at school, but hey, it beats that ugly poster-esqe thing I have in the download.
Introduction to the mission - Gregory LeRoy has been selling guns to native americans, and has intent to rile them into attacking various homesteads around Tombstone. This is a bad thing. You get paid to stop bad things like this.
Let's start by going into the barn right there!
Hey, can't we settle this peacefully!?
I guess not...
What now, bitch?
Anyway, with that taken care of, let's leave this barn. The smell of manure is catching in my clothes.
OMG, WHERE'S THE ROOF!?
PHEW, THERE it is!
Yes. Most roofs will vanish when you walk behind them. This is so you can see where you're going at any time. :P
Anyway, let's go into that first house right there...
What the fuck? Who builds a house with a dead? Maybe I can get some directions from this bulletin board here...
wut. Okay, that's REAL helpful. I'll just phase through the wall!
OH.
Yes there are hidden areas everywhere. Just because this isn't medieval fantasy or sci-fi doesn't mean everything has to be obvious.
Anyway, moving on to the next building...
Okay, that's nice... At least I know that these are signs that say stuff.
Okay, that makes sense. There's a door disguised as a gunrack that moves when I hit these four switches? Original...
HMMM...
...okay...
What the hell? All of your buddies what to kill me, but you want to sell me stuff? EH?
(The beer and whiskey both are quite destructive in the boss fight to come...)
NEENER NEENER NEENER YOU CAN'T CATCH ME!
GOD DAMMIT.
'Bout time I got here. I expect a challenge.
So he reduces my stats, eh? This I can counteract with Brave-Maker *the beer I bought earlier) which negates de-buffs and has the added bonus of healing half my HP!
Now for whiskey! Firewater raises all three of my stats (However, both "double attack" and "half attack" can be in effect at once, etc.)
With my new-found attack boost, I'm hitting a 600-hp boss for 50 a hit. Easy shit.
Okay, this was a little late with the Print Screen button, but I criticaled with an innate skill, doing almost 500 damage. Ridiculous. (you'll learn to love whiskey!)
All is now well!
Enjoy, and play 1873!

I have no idea what TAUT is, so rest assured that it was a TML reference, Reives. =D
MODIFY: That roof thing must be a PAIN IN THE REAR. Good job.

Holy fuck that looks awesome Craze.. Your impressing me even more everyday with all these screens you've been showing off lately.
That title screen is really hard to read, CP.
Although no one said anything about my title screen!

Hm.
Just a title screen. I started this like 5 minutes ago.
EDIT: This should mean I'll have a complete game by the end of December.
I saw before, but didn't have anything to comment on except the title.
EDIT: To make this post less useless!
Well, honestly, your mapping is absolutely boring. (Especially the barn.)
The RTP desert doesn't mix too well. Your DBS looks okay for a DBS. (The numbers for HP look a bit hard to read.)
The block tiles on the roof when he is under it looks bad, idk, maybe make it transparent instead of disappearing.
Other than that I guess I like the idea of a western, and I like games that are more open ended.
I only reposted my title because it was on the previous page..

Azn I like your title screen but in terms of its color scheme/attitude it's VERY Ghostlight, take that how you please.
ChaosProductions, that is some terrible fucking mapping right there, especially the screen with the cows, it's pretty obvious you weren't trying, plus that one chipset you have is getting really monotonous.
I would like to point out that all of this was caused by my brain fart when I said "Nice Taut Reference" when I meant to say "Nice The Mirror Lied" reference. Sorry Craze. Sorry Reives.

Every time I try to find more, I get stuff like this, okay?
Everything I find is either medieval or sci-fi, even on charasproject. The two chipset I've found are the ones I'm making due with.

Redo of barn:
This is about the best I can do with this tileset. The two I have are running out of steam fast, and I can't find any more for my life.
You expect talent and skill from me?
Sad part is I was.
I've noticed this.

You really need to make your maps SMALLER.
They are just too large and open.
I suggest you creatively use other chipsets to solve your redundancy problem, as well.

Well, Ghostlight influence on me is very apparent I guess. Especially due to Gates of Evocation and Backstage. Also I don't think it's a bad thing!

oh hey cool it's my gw avatar
that's pretty hilarious actually
Much better. Thanks, Azn, McGee.

Nows that's what I'm talking 'bout.
Looks a lot better.
However I suggest you use this desert tile, seeing as it's where the rest of the chipset comes from!
(You could also be super-graphic nit-picky and add the little thing on the bottom of the building where the building touches the ground.)

I didn't know that's where it came from. I'll look into the tile (*cough*ripitfromthatpicture*cough**cough*)
What game is that? I'd like to give credit.
EDIT:
Meh. I don't know, I personally prefer the old tile but I'll leave it to the populace.

I don't like the texture on the older one. (It's too recognizable as OMGRTP.)
The game is Live-a-Live. You can brighten and saturate the new one a little bit. (It's because of the time of day ingame when I was taking the screenshot. It's the break of dawn, right after midnight.) You should also add the little shadow on the bottom of the buildings.
Mostly working CMS. (Inventory isn't set up, since puzzles haven't been thought out yet.) Didn't take long at all.

Is that 2k3, and if so, how is that done?
(referring to title screen and its modded New Game/Load/Exit)
