1 MILLION SCREENSHOTS
Some in-game systems. The systems themselves don't look like much (lots of show choice, show text) but I'm proud of their functionality.
Some Combat Screens and Systems:
The Log System:
Players can equip normal gear and cyberware!
Death of species joke!
Faaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Like, 10,000 years after the end of galactic civilization, which itself is at least another 1,000+ years in the future from this point. If you're wondering about the amount of divergent technologies (medieval shit next to modern stuff next to super whacky future tech) that is one of the game's central mysteries.
The game is essentially a mystery, trying to discern the meaning of the apocalypse after it happened.
Clest, thank you! : D Yes, I agree aobut the ship front, but I'm just working with what I have. It looks better in motion, though you'll just have to take my word for it, for now.
Karsuman...thank you. Yeah, I noticed the similarity myself. Kind of funny, when you think about it...

WOW those are A LOT of screenshots!! ... Too much to even focus on one :|
What time period does your game take place in? Like how far into the future? :|

Oh my god please hide that. Also, why did you show 4 screenshots of the exact same location but with different dialogue?
It looks nice but you could have shown the exact same thing in 6 screens.

I was showing off the dialogue, I guess? Anyway...::edits, edits, edits::....
Fixed.
There is no space after a dash. :<
That's nice Craze but what did you think of the screens. I always comment on yours. : P
The Psychopolitical Drama: Phylomortis - Avant Garde is still popular in 14,008? I wonder if they ever heard of Dragon Kingdoms :D
And that's not quite a million screenshots, that'd crash the browser. Still, 30-odd screens is a little taxing for some (not mine) computers. And somehow, the name Taggart seems familiar. I see that "Spirit" has been reverted to Mind, like in RM2k/3.

I think they look gorgeous, Max, and I love the blue glowy orb capsule things. What bugs me the most is that you're using an outside roof tile for inside walls--the top edge looks bad. There should be a similar "roof" tile for the inside of buildings, but you probably knew that already and just don't mind the bar at the top.
I would make some comments but I don't want to wait for 1 Million Screenshots to load.
Testing out some glass shattering effects, and working on some textures. Come to think of it though the glass shattering looks alot better in action, I'm just to lazy to make a video.
The current ammo and health indicators are only temporary.
O yeah, your screenshot may be bigger but mines more 3D!

Decided to upload a video finally.

@Max:
Nice, tilesets well-used. The VX style tilesets seem to fit rather well with XP char-sets too. The tints are pretty fitting, except that I think for the black&white ones, the floor seems too dark - perhaps dragging all the tone bars up a bit might help.
@Dreampainter:
At first it was making me sleepy, and then the giant boulder comes in and it's suddenly awesome. The maps could use some serious revamp though, needless to say.

Same here ... It was a bit boring and the battles did not look exciting at all :|
The only thing i can say I like about it is the fact that the monsters chase you when you get near them ...
The boulder definitely woke me up, but then put me back to sleep when you still died after (what appeared to be) you doing a good job running away from the boulder.

Yeah, thanks. The giant bolder part is only a taste of whats to come in the final game.
Do you have any suggestions on how I can improve the battles and make them more interesting?

I'm an ABS person ... so I can't really give suggestions on how to make your battles more interesting as the turn-based system just does not interest me.But in RM2k3 they makes use of a real-time "ATB" system which interest me more and is why I moved on to RM2k3
It's by Dark Chrono (if anyone remembers him) and was made for Abstract Paroxysm (if anyone remembers that) but I will say 'thank you' since I think it blends in rather nicely.

New title screen for Vanity.
lol that is disturbing
That's a pretty sweet title screen, but the title screen for my All Hallows project is more disturbing!

Yeah, I agree. I've considered porting the game over to 2k3, yet I've already been working on the game for over two years, and it seems like it will be a lot of work, and at the same time some of the boss fights actually seem better from a "behind the character" perspective.
If I can figure out a good way to make the characters face, upward, in battles, and have it animate properly, including the run away animation, I might consider making a port.
