CloseA couple of us in Slack were considering the possibility of a RMN meet - i.e. a bunch of us meet up in real-life and get up to some wild shenanigans (or not).
As for the timeline, I honestly don't know when it'd happen yet as it's dependent on a lot of things...if it were to be hosted in London (where I live), I'd be aiming for within a couple of months (say end of July).
It might be also worth stating when you'd be free for this type of thing, and for how long.
I think most of us were keen in Slack were keen on London, UK because of its accessibility, but if you have any other ideas, feel free to share.

I have vacation weeks 32, 34 and 35 so I could possibly go somewhere at that time. If I can find my passport. (and if it's not too expensive and also I am bad at traveling I get such anxieties)
So really we should all just gather in my hometown.

Would be interesting, though an international meet-up would be very difficult to set up.
Either way, this year is impossible for me because I've already used up most of my annual leave to go on a vacation in Japan end of this year.

I simply couldn't make it unless it were nearby and that's not fair to everyone else. I mean, it's not that I don't want to fly to London...or to France, or to Japan, or to Australia, or to a million other places I've always wished I could visit. I just don't think it's really possible for me.

I'd definitely be down for London. Though, if we're talking about a European meetup, any European capital would probably be accessible enough.
Though, I'm gone July 14th to August 8th, so if it's the end of July I won't be able to attend.

I may or may not come to visit the UK again at some point in the near future, but honestly I have no idea yet when that would be.

Yeah, but that wouldn't have the same feeling. Sure, you would have the conversation, but you wouldn't be meeting the people, truly. Even if we did do what I suggested, it wouldn't be the same as meeting them in real life, but it would be better than just chatting behind our own screens, all alone.
I'd love to meet other members, but, I'm not much on travel. So, my general response to this poll might be more on the "No, YM, I suck" option, should it have existed?

What you're saying is we need a livestream from the rmn meetup. And yes. This is something that we need.
If I had the money to travel I'm sure both my devbud and I would love to meet anywhere abroad, but I have to vote for Toronto as it stands because then I can just walk to the meetup for free.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.
