Would even more mafia be such a good thing, though? There has been absolutely no down-time as it is for the past few months already.
Now I don't mind much, I'll just read along with all games no matter how many there are, but I know it gets quite annoying for other members of the site.

I'd to know when there is a vanilla mafia without a bunch of special rules so I can play again. Because I wouldn't mind playing some mafia. But with all the weird shit that seems to be going on (I only read the recruitment post so I don't know if it's actually very regular) I just can't be bothered.

dunno if my game will have crazy roles or be more vanilla. maybe just normal rules/mechanics everything with unique roles
I would be up to it. Just need to ask, if there is an investigator in vanilla? We used to have that role back in tourist club days.

the town, which is all townies whose only power is their vote
which is fun cause it's ALL SKILL NO LUCK (no items(fox only(final destination)))
but 'vanilla mafia' i think generally refers to anything with no experimental roles/mechanics, where at least 30% of the town is a vanilla townie with no power beyond voting
so most power roles you'd find on some kind of 'mafia wiki' would be fair game

Vanilla sounds nice right now. My favorite icecream is vanilla.
I dont want games to try and top eachother and I'm not fond of "rp" mafia games (although that style is the first I joined) but that's why I will probably skip liberty's. I dont like having to get characters and items and stuff :(

I like it, cuz you can't do that weirdo rp stuff in an around table town of Salem. Not even when you're ten years old. Kids are mean and bored with the stuff quickly. It was about you being able to lie to the others. I was terrible at it, couldn't get myself to lie back then.
Cave is correct, that it is the one where skill matters and you can't role-claim every ten minutes.
I think you can give a vanilla game more flavor two and rp stuff isn't really about powers. You know that these guys don't have any special nukes up their sleeves and it's just another part of the skill.
