STAR FALL: A FORUM GAME (IN PLAY)

I observe with some discretion as the survivors leave their ships, and try to get some last minute information on them and pointers on how to act, but I fail regarding the discretion part and one of the girls notice my curiosity.
Better start talking before things get weird or suspicious.

"I'm Corp. Wimble from the light carrier WolfEmpress" - I say while doing a loose salute - "I am searching for clues regarding the recent Wah'ri assaults including the Mako."

I will simply watch as things unfold.

I return to the group silently. Then I face him and point to myself and say, "Agnelia."

I point to my comrades. "Lintis. Ozardel." Then to the others. I can't remember their names. I try to think of an English word I've heard that describes why they're with us and what they do. I struggle for a moment before coming up with, "Bait."

"As the little girl already said, I'm Ozardel and if I may ask, how did you know we were coming and from where we were coming?"

I look towards Helium, hoping she picks up on my obvious suspisiousness of this person and for her to play along.

//Oh, took so long to type that NeverSilent got first, updating... done.

I scratch my head for a second, probably the attack thrown some paranoia into the mix, should've anticipated that, somehow.

"The port crew informed me that people registered to the Mako would be coming, but not from where or what you did back at the Salvage scout though, doubt it would help with finding about the raids anyway." - I shrug while responding to Ozardel

Then turn to Helium
"I've been assigned to bail a VIP out of my carrier when it were attacked, when I came back there was no trace of it. No sign of the crew members, no wreck to be found, to what should be just another looting this doesn't make any sense. So it got to be something else."

"My interest is finding where my ship is, and who thrown Wah'ri at it."

"Sounds good to me. I can help up with it if it's not something... personal." - I add carefully
"I won't get my hands in credits enough to give something one would call payment until I find the WolfEmpress, so maybe a extra wingman could do for the meanwhile. There is not much left to investigate in this planet anyway."

I wonder if there's any rumors about this WolfEmpress? Might be something to look into later. Unless that is ground that's already been covered. Then again, I think we've got our hands full as-is!

*Edit: What I really don't like is that conversation between Helium and that pirate/mercenary. I seriously wasn't expecting an exchange like that! Maybe I understood it wrong, but, I feel like there's a bounty on our heads. So, keeping a low(er?) profile might behoove us.

I can barely hold back from slapping Chloe. But instead, I just look at her directly and say:
"Shut the hell up, Chloe! He's not a pet, he's a person. Quit acting like such a brat."


But Lintis is right. This group has gotten a lot of unexpected attention, and seemingly random people appear to be interested in us or know who we are. I don't like it one bit.

"Guys, listen up for a second. I still don't know how much I can trust you, and you probably think the same about me. But fact is, we're all in this together, and we're dependent on each other if things get dangerous.
I know a few things I feel I should tell ya, but we gotta make sure we're having this conversation in private. If the wrong people find out what I know, we might all get killed in our sleep."

I don't know Palius too well, though. Anyone else know any safe places around here?"

I don't draw much of a reaction regarding Chloe and Hellium, between the first week on the empress and the later ones trying to get a Taflu carrier through human security, that's not a big deal.

I frown when he sound up his suspicions, someone been obviously covering his tracks and we're loose ends. Come to think of it, all my poking around for clues could have end badly long ago. But unfortunately, regarding a safe-house all I have to say is:
"Nothing here, we used to talk about business in the ship."
