I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I'm gonna go with Cap instead for now because he is trying way too hard to start a narrative about whether or not Cavedog is deviating from his "usual" play style:
This is the flimsiest straw-grasping of all time, and it's extra-dumb because the discussion Cap is trying to create would not be likely to result in anyone voting for Cavedog no matter what came out of it. But the incredibly hamfisted attempt to steer people to a topic about whether someone is being genuine still bothers me. It's like a novice scum who is not sure what to work with on day one.

'Being worried' is unusually soft from you too (am I correct?).

I don't care if I die Day 1, in the "less work for me" sort of way. But it seems like a bad way to play, as I am doing Town a disservice by not trying. Why play at all if you don't play to live. I have since adopted a more active strategy, because, again, why sign up? Wasting everybody's time.
Cap_H, you are swinging pretty wildly. But it is Day 1, so I wonder if you're just attempting to stir the shit.

I hate to potentially chase off a sign up, but...
It doesn't have much in the way of power roles, but the setup is definitely not regular.
Edit: I'd like to say more about that, but the setup is designed on players not knowing all the rules.
Piano saying this here is the only reason I'd be worried about flavour at all. Since it's too early to know if it actually affects anything though I'd just ignore it for now.

Actually given the title of the game & the fact that some of it is supposed to be secret what if scum isn't set in stone but rotates based on who is possessed?

So far no-one strikes me as being suspicious though I dislike Shinans "voting for the sake of voting". I think Cap is probably just flinging wild ideas around to provoke discussion. It's day one it's not like we have anything solid to go on yet.

that said I am against voting someone who is actually attempting to do something, on day 1.
I kind of want to kill shinan for doing his thing where he plays the game without actually playing the game.

To be frank I forced some of these comments to start some discussion (and to use at least one gif).
I find ebeth's comment interesting as it is a game changing idea and i can imagine someone like jero trying to do something like that. It would mean that every day is day 1 and we're starting anew. Definitely something to make the setup bastard.
Right now, I find myself mostly in agreement with Cave. I don't like that LockeZ jumped on me like that after one comment, which was trying to start a discussion. I don't see it as creating a narrative. Also, I think I wouldn't be so desperate to push something like that so early on as scum.

lonestarsuperluminary, sevene and rainbowvein are the three who haven't posted yet I believe. There's still a good deal of time, but I'd like to at least see they are here and ready to participate. If you three are reading and just haven't posted yet, please do so soon so we know you are playing the game.
That said, I'm for voting anyone who isn't generating discussion since the day 1 lynch is really just analyzing posts with no evidence.

i just assumed there was demon possession in the flavor because the title of the game has exorcism in it. i dont see any reason to believe in people getting possessed (how would that even work, a...cult recruiter???) until there's some evidence to suggest it

Shinan, LockeZ, Liberty prolly would be my hitlist now (libby and LockeZ are an associative read). But I'm not jumping on conclusions before the rest of players appears. They group have a big chance of including a wulf in my eyes.
I'm sorry for not posting anything constructive yet but I've been very busy the last few days, later today I will properly read through everything and try to contribute to the game, don't wanna get booted, I'd be left out of all the fun that is mafia with so many people.

For my list I'll ignore the existence of the no-shows for now since they may turn up later.
my priority target would be shinan. Dudesoft would be my second just for being all over the place. I think he's messing around, but it isn't really helpful either. My third is a toss up between cap and lockez. I haven't decided which I find more suspicious yet: cap's forced comment (though it is true it did generate discussion), or the fact that lockez jumped on that really quickly.

Yeah I'd prefer killing one of the three people who haven't posted anything yet, and until this game I thought were all alts of the same person who was notorious for signing up for mafias and then posting nothing.

Posting once about the flavor was fine, I did as well. I meant the way you kept jumping around jokingly about how you did or didn't read it. The amount of times you posted along those lines seemed a bit excessive to me (though I also got the vibe that you were messing around which is why I mentioned you might be).
That's just my opinion though, and cave did say I had to choose three for that game. Optionally I could just hit shinan, cap, and lockez. Given the back and forth maybe I'd hit something if I chose them both?
In my mind you weren't a major target anyways so there's that. I'd also like to hit the no-shows but they haven't been here to give me anything. If it were a night phase only weapon I'd choose all three of the no-shows if they hadn't spoken by then. If day phase I'd like to give them a chance to speak (and that's why they weren't on the list).
