Yup that's it! So when you guys started saying that it was really unlikely for cap to guess right - you were right. But it was also unnecessary for him to guess!

Uh, I will be the first to admit I royally screwed up this game, but let's not pretend I was the only person who did so, yeah? I think I've mentioned this before, but it really bothers me when people do the whole "Yeah I knew XYZ all along" or "Oh gosh it's so obvious!!!" lines, when they were in dead chat or whatever and had a bird's eye view of the proceedings.

To be fair, at that stage in the game everyone was making bad assumptions that gunner was confirmed town and lovers were confirmed town. They weren't guaranteed to be correct, they just... happened to be, luckily. With both piano and lockez calling Ozzy/Cap I was actually surprised the game didn't end that night -- it was looking very dire for scum.
Oh and sorry about flavor on the gunman stuff Yellow/Demon. The "you got chased" text intentionally didn't mention bullets or other specifics so that targets couldn't confirm their hunter based on flavor. And then Demon misread his PM as saying someone smacked him with a vase vs someone broke a vase while trying to smack him haha.

Also can I just say I really loved the flavour. It's no secret I like Umineko, but still. The music really gave it the right atmosphere. All it did was put us into some scenes from the games, but it worked really well.

Because when you decide to just do your own thing when everyone very reasonably decided on a course of action that you just decided not to go along with, literally costing the game, nobody should ever call you out on it.

It didn't literally cost the game though. I said that if Ozzy flipped scum, I wouldn't fire because I didn't trust third gunner was town, and that third gunner could do whatever. So if anything, that action of mine cost us the game.
