Dude, we got so obnoxious about it that some of the game moderators (psy_wombats comes to mind) started making rules suggesting that we ignore the flavor for the purposes of gameplay.

roleplay jokes aside (sorry I was being an obnoxious smart arse)...
I am being completely serious when I say that starting at a time that is convenient for Jero is pretty odd. He seems he put it at a convenient time as to where he will be one of the last that can operate this entire business. You probably are quite confused about what I'm talking about as I too am just going on with this totally not random and completely stupid hypothesis that we are being led by scum. Jero is scum, look at all the hints. He started it conveniently for him, he told nobody else but the players could post on here, he has trapped us all in a Mafia prison where he is the true Mafia, the Godfather, this was all a trick, all hope is lost. #Lynch Jero.

I see nothing wrong with RP in mafia games, as long as the games are catered to it. We've had some pretty awesome ones in the past (Steamboat Mafia, anyone?)

I do agree with Libby on the roleplay case tbh.

I don't feel good about that method. I feel it leaves us with less information than if we were all forming small opinions based on how everyone is playing. At least this generates discussion though.

I got a raise for commendable work dealing with bots and spammers. But hey, how clever to say "I don't like this method, let's lynch liberty instead of the one whose method I don't like." Just like a crooked cop to look the other way, eh?

I have no reason to lynch muffle yet. Her activity is normal, and while I don't agree with her ideas, they are rather normal for her.
I feel even better about this lynch now just because of how defensive you are being over what I intended to be a joke just to generate some more discussion.

That is actually a pretty good point. The only reason I can actually think of for a Discord notification would be if there had to be an invite for a server. Of course, that could be done here, too, but it's strange that he seems to be the only one to confirm getting a Discord DM. Yeah, that is kind of funny. The reasoning is a bit meta, though. It would seem strange for Jeroen to make that mistake.

Wouldn't that logic also point you towards being scum, Psy? If you were notified the game began through Discord, and so was I...
If I was "discord-pm'd to join scumserver", I think it'd be reasonable to consider that you are also scum, since you stated that you were also pm'd on Discord for the game to begin.
...I'm not sure if that was explained well. Sorry.
