While Odd is playing different in terms of post content, last game he was involved in virtually none of the votes so that aspect of his play remains the same.

Yeah, I was very gung-ho last game and got a lot of townies killed, maybe I want to avoid doing that this time around and actually analyze stuff more before going after someone.
I'm not sure this holds up, the last game was only really gung-ho in the final couple of real days, we analaysed loads after the first day and always came up with the wrong person. In fact when Odd was lynched Ozzy correctly went with his gut and ignored the ongoing analysis.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

PA has barely written that much in his own posts. It's just nonstop jokes, including doubling down on the fuschia agent joke after everyone else pointed out it was a joke. Zero content so far, though that's hardly unique to PA.
I mean, I'm okay with the jokes on day one though. It honestly helps us get reads to some degree, because inevitably one idiot will take them seriously. Often oddrabbit, pianotm or demonlord then says something really confusing that reveals that they misunderstood the rules in a way that nobody could do if they were in a group chat. Or, as in this case, just over-analyzes the nonsense in a way that nobody would do if they were in a group chat.
As far as pointing out people who are inciting suspicion of others in what feels to me like an excessively aggressive way, which I think is an actual behavioral scum tell, my top concern so far is Cap_H. But Cap_H is also near the top of my town list, if that makes sense. He's making a ton of reads and fostering a lot of discussion, which is good, but his town reads feel a lot better-supported than his scum accusations. I'm not really sold on anyone's behavior as being scummy so far.

Welp, I assume CAVE just voted on me for the lulz, seems like his MO, my main worry is how you're seriously trying to vote for me just because of the lulz and that you're against me being analytical, so I'd say when I inevitable flip town if I die today, that you should get murdered because of your incredibly dumb reasoning for voting on me. I am going to go over thread again and see if I can come up with any reads, but this being day 1, unless we have an obvious scum, like you and Libby on the previous game, I don't think I'll really come up with any helpful reads.
If it wasn't clear, avenge me lynching Psy when I flip town.

nah my vote is real. I've just said all there is to it. It's more than anything an admittedly weak (but justified) gut feel. I feel better about it after seeing you go super hard on psy in this post, and not me, even though we have the exact same reasoning for voting you. Your call to murder psy isn't even that he's being dishonest or anything, just that his reasoning is bad.

Not really much to add now looking at the new posts. I'm going to town read anyone analyzing the posts and being helpful on a day 1. I forgot about Fomar's time zone, but now that I'm seeing his posts he's reading town to me as well.
The only people not doing this: PA, Milk, Ozzy, Odd.
PA is acting the same as he was last game, and he was town there. As far as his avatar thing, he does that a lot. He changed it to merlin in the game he was merlin, and then to something weird the next game but he was still town. I wouldn't call it a tell for him. I would like to see more posts from him though to be sure.
Milk is new, and I'm against lynching new players on day 1. I would like to see them actually start participating though.

@Demonlord it was a joke vote at first, until I read a little more into his reason for voting me, which was half just for jokes and half because he seconds CAVE? I'm gonna do the thing I hate and metagame and say that Psy always tries to be rational with these kinds of things? I have my vote cancelled on him roght now, but until I find a better scum read I'm gonna stick by this. His vote on me feels off.

Now that's a nice post from LockeZ! I don't have much else to say about it. Yeah, PA's been joking and nothing else. That's why I don't even have a read on him. I agree with demon, that PA changing his avatar isn't AI, but he changed it to a spy wearing Jero as a mask, so he might be suggesting something.

Something interesting to consider that I just realized, scum will probably not push for votes much during this day if not multiple days. There's no need to hammer as the person with the most votes on them will die. It would be perfectly logical to assume that town would therefore be way less pressured to give many votes or even hammer anyone.
Of course, this does not mean that there won't be scum in any given lynch train, but that scum will just be calmer about pushing any lynches against anyone.

That's the perfect reason TO push for votes. nolynch isn't an option, so it would always be better for scum to hammer rather than end normally as it limits the amount of communication during the day.

That makes sense. Out of all outcomes, an early mislynch train is the best for town.
I still think Ozzy has a point. If our votes are split nearing the end of the day, then scum can tip the scales easily. Perhaps only one of them vote for the wrong target to ensure a mislynch, putting them at minimal risk.
I feel like a hammer would still be most useful for town. It draws out more votes so we get more information. I'd find it hard to draw any conclusions from a mislynch if only 3 or 4 people voted for the person.
This is mostly just my intuition talking.

I am also of the opinion that we should hammer instead of letting the timer run out. Sorry if I didn't say that in my earlier post. I just wanted to point that we should be warry of how certain people vote when there's a split decision. This could also explain why there might've been less people trying to hop on the Ozzy lynch train? Because scum thought to themselves they didn't really need to?

Let me summarize this whole Demonlord thing. I don't have a great feeling about him, but I'm genuinely confused about what he thiks he's doing.
So first, Demonlord apparently misread Cap H. He thought Cap said there were three scum.
He was tired too tired, so came back and then misread the OP as well, which he thought confirmed there were three scum.
Then he realized he made an error and he says:

That said, I can't jump on the Demon wagon with confidence. The guy is a gaf machine on day one and he always flips town in the end. And I don't really see the use of him dropping that there is three scum in here. If he's scum then he seriously messed up to post that.
