RE Revelations was awesome though.
As for Dark Souls, BAH, I can't beat Ornstein and Smough, they are relentless, only when I summoned Solaire did I manage to kill Ornstein, but Super-Smough buttstomped Solaire, and I didn't have enough flask charges left to finish him off (he had over 30% left). So now I don't have any humanity left to summon help, and solo I rarely manage to bring one of them below 50% before they roflstomp me.
Will probably come back later and do some other areas first, was getting frustrated. The rest of Anor Londo was actually easy though, even the archers didn't give me any trouble, just the damn boss duo.
You can get a decent amount of souls by 1 shoting the silver knights all the way up to them and just down slashing the giants as they come up, the knights are really easy to parry since they have all the same timing. Just something to mention if you want more souls.
As for the pikachu and snorlax fight, I ended up hitting ornstein whenever he was out of smough's reach, he's charges at you a lot so as long as you keep kiting and making smart use of the pillars you can keep it to a 1 on 1. Super smough is pretty much watching out for the oh mega butt stomp. Other than that it's pretty much how good your tells and reflexes are. I don't remember much more than that other than it's one of my fav fights in the game. I never bothered with Solaire.
Me and My Katamari has been entertaining me bus ride to and from work. I forgot how much I love PSP.
Woot! I just beat EVO today! That final boss was a pain in the ass... Then again a lot of bosses in the game are ass pains.
... Now I want to play it again making different evolutionary paths. xD

I can't believe how much trouble they gave me before. Finally beat them. Left Anor Londo, leveled up my Pyromancy Flame to +15, got myself a Queelag's Furysword+5, and went in with an Eagle Shield. Suddenly the fight was done in one go, pikachu was burnt to a crisp in a moment, and for Super-Snorlax I just played it safe, going in for 1-2 hits during the openings. Poise makes a lot of difference in this fight.
And yes, me and the pillars in the boss room are now BFFs, screw Solaire :D
Made some decent progress, cleared Demon Ruins/Lost Izalith, got a +15 Zweihander (oh god that damage), got through Painted World (left the boss alone), had fun in Duke's Archives and I whipped the asses of 4 Kings. Currently the only area I have left to do is Tomb of the Giants, which should be breeze now that I got the sunlight maggot.
Decided to tackle the bonus content from the DLC first before I continue. I love Oolacile. That first boss though, a super saiyan chimera, haven't met such a fast boss before. It has easy tells, but still.
EDIT: The story about Artorias and Sif is too damn sad, especially with the extended cutscene before the Sif boss fight.

And a manly tear was shed indeed.
Final Fantasy VI. I haven't played it for around, oh...8 years now, but I just thought I would give it another go for ol' times sake. I did beat the game back then, but...sort of by accident. And when I mean "accident," I mean it wasn't totally my fault. You see, at around the end of the game when I was training most of my team to get ready for the final battle, the game suddenly "glitched" up on me for around 60 seconds with a weird color screen when I was in a random battle with something, and when the game then came through, I suddenly had a infinite supply of Gem Boxes, Golden Hairpins, and Ultimate Weapons up the yin-yang. For years, I still don't know why that happened or what made it happen, but, this time, I'm going to finish the game on my own, this time! So far, I'm just made it to Vector for the first time. Not bad for a two day start. :P
I was playing Persona 3 Portable and it got me thinking. Now my original idea for my RPG has changed.
ff6 was just a weirdly made game. your level does more to determine the damage you deal than any of your actual stats, iirc
LoZ: OoT is what I'm playing. I'm sure everyone already knows though considering how I can't stop babbling about it.
Seriously, OoT is AWESOME AND WONDERFUL AND AWESOME AND... YEAH.
The only bad thing about it is... the Water Temple. Water Temple is bad. And the Blue Tektites... oh Din, as if the Red ones weren't annoying enough, there just HAS to be a kind that can jump on water. Seriously, those caused about 30% of my frustration with that temple.
Oh, and Ice Keese, Y U NO LEAVE ME ALONE?

Was it the SNES version? Sketch can cause all sorts of weird bugs if it misses.
Yep, it's the good ol' SNES version.

OOT is, indeed, awesome and wonderful and I'm glad you're enjoying it. You haven't played "Majora's Mask" yet, have you? If not, you should give that a go next. ^^
I'm playing all kinds of Nes games I used to play as a kid, online (mostly Mega Man). Yes, I JUST found out this is possible. ;P
...I know this is too good to be true. But I figured that if nobody has taken the whole thing down yet, I can't really be blamed. xD

I don't buy for a moment that Darken can reliably defeat Ornstein and Smough on his own. Every solo kill on YouTube has something in common: the player's corpse recovery point is visible on the battlefield, meaning they have died at least once while attempting this fight.

Actually...now that you say that, maybe that's what happened to my game all those years ago... Yes... I remember taking Sabin & Relm along with Cyan and Gogo to do some training in Narshe when I had Sabin use "Vanish" on an enemy (for shitz & giggles) and having Relm use "Sketch" on it (because I think I was getting bored with all the level grinding, and stuff). I think that's what screwed up my game and gave me all those wonderful items after the game froze...
...I feel like trying that again to see if the exact thing happens again. But I can't because I wanna beat this sucker the right way, the honest way!
I am playing Starseed Pilgrim. I recommend everyone to at least give a try for half an hour, because it is one of the deepest games I know. The creator of Braid, Jonathan Blow, said it's his favourite game of the year, and that he's surprised that the media hasn't gobbled up on it by now. It's a small 20MB but the possibilities are endless.
It's better than Minecraft.
I repeat, it's better than Minecraft.

I'm playing Touhou 13 - Ten Desires. It's noticeably easier than the last two Touhou games (but by no means the easiest) but I have yet to beat it without Continues. Touhou is great.
Sounds intriguing. Is it comparable to Minecraft? What's the game about?

It's comparable to Minecraft in that it's essentially a block-building game, though not in the way you'd expect. Also, the gameplay mechanics are actually spoilers, so I don't want to ruin anything. Yeah, that's how obscure it is ;)
