PIXELS

Thanks! ^^
I plan to get into shading eventually. I'm mostly just getting used to working with pixels right now.

Not really so much afraid as I don't think I'm really ready just yet. I'm pretty sure I'll get there though. A friend of mine(she's been doing pixel art for a while) linked me to some stuff I can study and maybe learn from. So here's hoping.
And yeah, it is. XD

@ Miss Maggoooooooooooooot!!!:
Well done. It's an own style. If you have graphics which fit to those it will look awesome.
@ DE:
Goddamn! Don't cancel that, man!

author=Arkauthor=SorceressKyrstyNever cease to amaze.
Pixels will never dieeee
One on the left is the newer one, right one is old.
I second this. Best sprite I've seen you do, At least as far as I can remember.
:O Maybe all the pixel practice with DS:R's revamp graphics paid off.

This topic got so dead it's depressing...
To get things going again: here's something I just posted over on Pixejoint - a bunch of tiles and sprites for a simple, comic-book style game (cancelled quite some time ago).
Amazing as always.
author=chanaI don't know what everyone else uses, but I just started drawing one pixel at a time in MS Paint.
What do you do all this with? I tried with chara maker 99 wow really bad! and all those details???!
My friend says it's a better idea to use something else though. Apparently, pixels clump easily in Paint.
You could give Graphics gale a try. Paint.net is also kinda dandy for pixeling but this is coming from someone that uses an ms paint clone.
Thanks, for Paint i'm on linux., doesn't work... (for Graphics gale idk), but yes! so I got it (with Gimp), all I have to do now, is the graphic...!

I second both GraphicsGale & Paint.NET.
Also, here's an enemy graphic (still not done with all the poses) for Stella I.
Isn't he adorable? =D

For Paint.Net you could get Mono, I think it would work then? And Graphics Gale may work in Wine.
