PIXELS

It's going to be very hard to make it seem round without adding more colors. The rendering of the bricks themselves are very garbled and random, put thought behind each pixel and think about how they come together to form a certain texture.
seems pretty round to me ;p. Plus, the texture itself is pretty random, but I am following a pattern regarding their shading. These are meant to be very rough bricks, and this is a very old, very mystical structure.
adding some deviations in the edge would help with depth a lot. make your supposed-to-look-3D-shape look a lot more 3D. just a suggestion. (:
Do any of you guys use one of those computer tablets when you're making pixel art?
I always stick with my mouse. I'm too cheap for a tablet.
By the way, that tower looks tubular Kyrsty. :3

I use my tablet for speed, but I can pixel the same way with my mouse as I could with my tablet. It's just for efficiency's sake.

I mostly use a mouse. I really only use a tablet when I get lazy or when I'm doing the initial drawing of a background/sprite. Sometimes not even then.

I use a tablet because it's faster for animating and because of Adarias =v=
This topic got so dead it's depressing...
To get things going again: here's something I just posted over on Pixejoint - a bunch of tiles and sprites for a simple, comic-book style game (cancelled quite some time ago).

Never cease to amaze.
So my pixels are pretty awful. Kind of a noob to the whole thing. So not into shading the stuff or anything, but... Eh.
Your line art is good, just maybe shade?
