There should be some sort of total character customization.
Having the freedom to pick whichever trainer class you want to be would be swell as well.

I don't know if it was already posted, but Junichi Masuda (head of Gamefreak) said no Pokemon other than Gen 5 ones are going to be in the regional pokedex, which is awesome news. No more annoying as hell Zubat or shitty Magikarp that gets used by EVERY fisherman.
Although theres a good chance they'll just be replaced by Gen 5 versions of the exact same thing.

Same here. I think I should actually just play it for once and catch what I think looks cool or strong, and not what I know is strong, or what I read on Bulbapedia.
