The players can keep attacking for about 4 turns average before needing to heal. The boss also has an attack that can drain over 300 HP to him and poison the player. Heh, I guess it won't be too shallow. :D

Finally. Uploading DOANE Part 1. It's little too early and quick to upload the first part. 53.06 MB Keep saves for Part 2. I'll upload tomorrow if I don't time to get it though Dropbox.

But it's now uploaded. No need to worryeth!!!!

I'm stumped on how to keep saves to input them to another game that's parts, as loading them up to continue. And keeping everything.

Meanwhile.....Edge of Chaos, just a lil side project about some crew shipwrecked on island, during a major war crisis, hunted by enemies, a monster, etc.

On DOANE Part 2, already, Elizabeth undercover.
Still working on character abilities (battle passives and overworld abilities). Getting closer to getting those done at least, but still need to brainstorm more and figure out how to get the coding set up...

I'm staring at a whiteboard and about 3 pages of notes of things to do for this game, but I can't decide on what I want to work on first.

Also, I have no idea what I'm feeling for an art style... either pixelated or hand-drawn. I need to start experimenting with that too because I can't rely on rips forever... gah!

Why not bounce some of your ideas off me? Sometimes that helps.
Cooking up tunes for Kirastar and tossing around ideas with DSWalton. *Edit* Music's up! I'll be adding more in time.

I'm a bit unfocused when it comes to game-making. At one point I am working on a project, and at the next point I start another. This is pretty much a custom graphics test I'm doing for a Super Mario Land themed SMBX episode. :D

Linni from rpgmakervxace made me a bunny girl for one my characters.
http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/topic/14057-bunny-girl-face-convert-request/

Makes it worth way for a playboy mansion. Tee-hee. Even so the place she's going too, is a playboy's mansion in my game, That I'm working on. :p

Nope, she's not all naked.

:) Also used Map Saver script works well. http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/topic/669-map-saver-script-conversion-request/#entry8571

A easy script to do. They won't all fit on screen. Two characters will leave so there so they'll be cornered on the screen.
Just did one hell of a debug run of my game. There were quite a few errors from areas that WEREN'T updated maps...some from me changing music filenames (because I'm picky and like my filenames to have the author's name in them), some from map errors (mostly in the updated maps, teleport errors and all that, while others were just errors with how maps were done), and then some were just system bugs.

Still got a bit to do, but once that's done, I think I'll be in the clear to work more on my database. Yes, MORE database work! Gotta get them abilities done yo!

Database work is always really fun to me... I love fine-tuning numbers and balancing stuff :D

Speaking of which, I have to do some test runs and figure out how many of each room to put in each region of my game... I have boss rooms, monster rooms, puzzle rooms, empty rooms, event rooms, teleport rooms...

Possibly 5 Parts for storylines character storylines, then 6 and 7 will be the final parts to end the game. Intros don't count, but that would be 9 I think. Though this might change.

Please.
Indeed it is Slash, indeed it is~ Except when you spend all day just working on one thing flat. Spent the entire day cleaning up my battle events in my Test 0 enemy (which I use as the base for all of my enemy group coding) so that now I know what's where, and just got my Hakutaku command up and running (that took quite a while to do too). Got her 3 of her 4 skills done (a regular AoE attack, FFXII's Horology, and FFXII's Traveler), and need to decide on what her final skill will do (LockeZ gave me an idea, though I'm pondering on it right now).

I also need to update and revamp my Blue Magic list, which is a chore in itself...and then later update my enemies so that they're...well, more challenging I'd say.
I'm about to finish coding a Tales of Phantasia/Destiny battle system for 2k3.
Aside from the controls and hitboxes, the key features to code were auto target detection, checking if the target is within the player's range upon pressing the attack key, and altering all Pictures' X position (enemies, projectiles, panoramas) whenever the player moves while being centered on screen.

Hopefully no game breaking bugs will show up at the last minute.
I'll probably release a tech demo for now.
Decided to revert back to the RTP style for spriting..'bout the same in terms of difficulty, but there's a ton more expressions/poses, so I felt it was the right thing to do; also chibi-er versions <3, but I'm unsure of whether to add mouths or not. It adds a little more life I think, but..idk, what do you guys prefer?

In that particular case there isn't a noticeable difference. For certain expressions you might need a mouth, though. You could always have the mouth be invisible unless it's open, like for laughing.

I'm just doing contract work atm... :(

Working on Kand City, characters return to find.....another character.

i've always just went with the notion that the mouth needn't be visible unless it's doing something worth seeing, like laughing. Having it be invisible, then appear when they laugh is a perfectly reasonable thing to do. Like the nose really.

In fact, like anything. Sprites have so many restrictions on what can appear due to limited pixel count that something really shouldn't be there unless it needs to be, I find.
Working on a game without a name.

Making original sprites from a template I found (up to 21 so far) and I'll be taking a stab at custom tiles. Still writing the story as well.
Working on modifying the Load script from what I'm basing my script on to allow for multiple save files (already have save script done).
Making my first posts while working on a slightly less ambitious project since I'm still a newbie at RPG Maker...
