I'm working out multiple things for MGS ver1.9. I'm really hoping this will be the last update I have to go through, so I'm going through it all very thoroughly.
I've added a few extras and worked out some potential glitches, but it's hard to know if I'll miss something out.

Trying to edit the CSS of my game's profile... and -this- isn't helping me as much as I had initially hoped. >.<;
I am re-mapping the first town in my current project for the fifth time. And oh god, it still looks terrible. Terrible. I'm not having this problem with any other town, why is it doing this to me?
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Your problem might be that you're trying to stick to the same original base idea and just improve the quality of doodads or whatever. When in fact you need to redesign a completely different town from scratch.
I had this problem when redoing some of my worst areas in Vindication. I started out trying to just fix them, but after one or two iterations, eventually realized they were unfixable. I had to just make entirely new areas to replace them, with the only thing in common being that the area was still a tower, or still a castle, or whatever. Though it was the dungeons, not the towns, that were the problem for me.

Yeah, that's what I'm finally doing--just starting from scratch. Though I'm keeping a relatively similar layout, and that might be my problem.
I just have this feeling I'll still be revamping this place when the rest of the game is done.

Wondering if I can get away with making an entire game whose areas are all nothing but stock photos from google image search. And whether it would be easier or harder than RTP mapping.

This calls for a clever title with the initials "GIS"

I haven't been working on my project lately apart from fixing a few minor errors (the joys of exam season) so in the meantime I'm going to see how far I can take VX graphically, seeing as it DOES have many more gameplay options than 2k/3. (As a result of me of 99.9% sure of taking up Computer Science next year chances are I'm going to be a LOT more serious about gam mak from now on. Hurray)

Working on a weapon ability system for my Characters considering for the first portion of the game(it is split into 4 different "acts" separated by time lapses)
Magic does not exist so instead of having to rely solely on the one true Physical Fighter The other 3 main characters will learn abilities based on the weapon they have (new abilities being taught by experts once certain weapons are obtained and certain levels reached) The other 2 will consist of martial arts like abilities,
Then after the first act they will be able to learn magic abilities corresponding to the weapons(as well magic in general) While the martial artists will be able to learn new magic based martial arts abilities.

I've finished the first combat area and did some town stuff. After designing the town, I only added the NPCs needed to progress to the combat area and then put the rest of the town on hold. Now it's time to fill the town with NPCs and other events.
I'm working on 2 games currently:
Lost king, I have worked a lot on this game since 2003, it's close to being finished, around 5-6 hours of gameplay so far, probably the whiole game will be around 7-8
and Neo Avalon, a new project in VX, with a futuristic setting.

I'm still spriting poses and editing other sprites, items, etc. I'm also readjusting the Hunter's Base since it's so old.
Tier Prophecies Introduction, I made full detailed walk-through like some others with dialogue and hints so I know what's gonna happen next. I properly have lots of projects, in hopes I'll kill most them for better ones.
The game may not contain a world map, but many locations, like forests and deserts maybe to go though. Though the intro does have a world map, but that's all.

Making the necessary image conversions as per this post.

Spent two straight hours making a Blackjack-esque game for Blackmoon Prophecy. It plays roughly the same, only the cards actually go up to 21 instead of stopping just after 10... So it's a pretty risky game to play, since your first card might be a lowly 3 or 4 and then the second card could be a whopping 19 which would put you over 21, therefore losing.
I have been wanting to put together a short little game revolving around the 'endless tower' style of dungeon-running, and I had some really cool ideas for this. Unfortunately it was while I was falling asleep and I forgot what was cool and unique about my idea. welp

Designing skillsets for some more of my characters. I am thinking the gun-using character will have several different types of bullets (maybe several different guns?) and will only be able to load one bullet of each type. So at the start of each battle, you'll have a trick bullet, a fast bullet, a fire bullet, and a bazooka shell. Her different skills will use different types of bullets. Reloading will be free, but take a whole round. So people will be strongly encouraged, but not forced, to use multiple different skills before each time they reload. If they just bazooka, reload, bazooka, reload, they'll be losing a lot of turns to reloading. But if they bazooka, inferno shot, stunshot, debilitate, reload, they'll be getting in a lot more hits, but not all of those skills are going to be optimal for the current situation. Etc. Not fully worked out. Will blog post once it is.
Of course, I also have yet to sprite this character's battle animations. Ugh. Hate spriting. Hate hate hate. It takes me hours to do such simple things. I sometimes long for the good old days when animations and decent graphics were impossible for technical reasons, just because that meant no one expected us to do them.
