Is it weird that someone downloaded my game, stole one of the maps, and used it for a Micheal Bay joke game? Ces't la internet, I guess. It was a combo of dajhail orig chip with a recolored sonic 2 bg from chemical plant zone, so it's not technically "mine" but still, I'm honored?

vs michael bay version with clever use of 3 for E for comedic effect:

To be honest it is perfect for a Michael Bay joke game.

I think I figured out how RPG VX was supposed to be used >>
Thanks. I've been playing DQ1 for GBC this week and I kind of realized why I like DQ games and older Final Fantasies. Its like a really long game of chess. Anyway.... I wonder if I can remake all the maps in a day.
Shortstar: The only issue I have with that map are the two-tile parts near the water. You'd be better served by using a water that already has a 'wall' part.
Designing one of my character's house. Needless to say, she's quite the rich girl :3
Outer
Inner (No overlay graphics have been added. There will be pano overlays very soon~)

The top one's nice but I don't quite get the configuration of the lower map : what is the white part?
@Clareain_Christopher Very nice and stylistic, but I kind of get confused about the depth of the house. Like which tiles are walls and which tiles are floors, etc. I wouldn't know how to remedy it, though, but it looks weird. It lacks perspective.
You'll want to use Shift-placement of tiles to fix the carpet, so that it looks like the wall is overlaying the carpet. Right now, that's not very clear.
Ah, thanks. I'll play around with the carpet, and add shadows when playing around with the overlays.
Pet Peeve time. Look at your carpet in your room. What shape is it? Square? Rectangular? Possibly circular if you have a mat? It is not whatever shape you've made the carpet in your map.
Cease and desist with the horrible carpetry, people. It doesn't make a map look fancy or cool or awesome. It just makes it look like you were too lazy to design your map properly.
There, I had a go at fixing it and showing what you could do. For one, the water was man-made. I don't know if you've noticed, but humans have a thing for squares, and it looked terrible with one-tile sides so I edited it a bit to make it look a bit better. That said, carpet mats should only be where people will walk. So, having it surround the water is a silly idea, not the least because the water would wreck the carpet itself. Also, those crystals should be one tile down since they're on pedistals. Now, if they were growing on the walls themselves, I could understand, but pedistals don't grow on the walls. They're tables. So yeah, one tile down. That'll help your walls look the proper height.

@Liberty
Thanks a lot. I'll play around with that, and release the overlay version in a day or so.
And I'll edit the crystal to seem as though it's growing/inside the wall.

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I thought carpets were for where the floor was stained with gatorade underneath. Have I been decorating my house wrong
To add to Liberty, I'd get rid of the random long 1-tile-thin carpets. I don't know, it looks kind of... autotile-y. Otherwise, Liberty is completely right, no-one sells mats in that shape :P
I think it would look 100% better without the carpets entirely.
If it were my own map I'd possibly just have the large carpet at the bottom and maybe one under the desk in the middle room.
