If characters aren't going to have different base status susceptibilities, there's no reason to show all of them. Just list relevant ones bestowed by skills/items.
Also, you should use Gimp for custom palettes so your portraits turn out better.

It is using GIMP. Just he's using the portraits that are already in the game for these portraits. I do need to update some of them badly...

Trying to make a replayable, randomized dungeon crawler in a week, where the game takes 60-90 minutes each time. Finished coding all of the character generation, where the game produces skillsets with no cross-character overlap (no other character in this party has Molten Waste, for example). Similarly, although stat/equip slot distribution is random (equip slots are tied to stats both in terms of level-based growth and what their equips provide), you can't be stuck with a party that has entirely shit Attack stats -- somebody is going to have a hefty punch.
It's an experiment! Woo-hoo! </Song 2>
Does "Seals" look stupid? I've also done stuff like "Dazed" -- "Daze" is the ailment, and I didn't want to highlight the extra characters in the tense change... need opinions. =|
Definitely colour the whole word. Just because the status itself may be tagged as "Seal" doesn't mean you can't get other usages from the same word: Sealed, Seals, Sealing. Looks sharper all coloured and totes weird with a colour change halfway through.
Either way; liking all your menu screenies so far; looks really sleek.

It seems like negative values should be, uh, absorb? That's a little confusing to some people perhaps, so just writing "Absorb" is probably fine, but. If you want the rest of it to be clear, 0% is immune, 50% is half damage, 100% is normal damage, 200% is double damage. That's how people will expect and understand it.
It says Elemental Resistance at the top, though.
If resistance to an element is at 0% it would mean the character has no resistance to the element. Anything above 0% would mean it does have resistance to an element. Anything below 0% means it lacks resistance to an element. But that's how I read it.

Colour the whole word.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Could also just avoid the issue:
Foes afflicted with Daze take more critical hits and evade less.
Seal effects lower elemental damage/resistance.

@Craze:
Looks much better, but LockeZ' suggestion works as well. Sometimes avoiding the issue is a win:win!
@Topic:
A pantomime theatre play with the VXA crew dressing up as and acting out FF6 in front of a live audience.
The set pieces are deliberately designed to look tacky and "made of cardboard" but the ones in later scenes do look better than these. Am thinking about going back and redrawing these earlier ones just so they stop looking like accidental bad artwork.

Hahaha, I don't think that's the same thing man
The equivalent in mapping of this type of issue would be if you had a house that was enterable from the west. Your choices would be to either not show the door, in which case the player couldn't find it, or show the door, which would be incorrect perspective. So you avoid the issue by moving the door to the south side of the building.
Meanwhile if we took what you actually do with your maps, and applied the equivalent of it to this situation, we would see that there's no good grammatical answer and that this kind of thing is probably going to be a recurring problem, and making it read well is hard, so let's just remove all the spell and status descriptions in the game and use caveman speak for them instead: "UGH-UGH, DO DAZE, DAZE BAD! LOW ACCURACY, UWAOOOO~"
...you know it's true
