THE FEATURED GAME THREAD
Posts
author=obsorberIt is largely based on my whims.
How to get game on featured page?
My whims are based on the perceived quality of the game, the perceived popularity of the game, and, more than anything else, what people suggest and discuss in this thread.

Maybe not featured, but probably filed under the What's Buzzing header.

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

This is a weird little adventure game with no gameplay, not much dialogue, but amazing art and music, and it actually makes sense despite being artsy: Very Retrouvaille
I would find out how much of the art/graphics the designer actually made as opposed to found, and if it's a non-zero amount, it gets a vote from me.
Jurassic Heart also gets a vote from me even though I only played like 60 seconds of it, because it is a dating sim where a high school student dates a t-rex. That's like. I don't even care how good the game is. You make a game with that premise, you instantly win my approval. No exceptions.

I enjoyed the overall design of Lunar Wish. IMO, It's a good 15/20 hour rpg.

Very Retrouvaille
Second this. I would also like to vote for Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate. But since we already had an RPG featured for the previous month, let's go with something else that's a bit different, shall we?
So Very Retrouvaille it is for me. ^^

Man I don't like this logic. This is an RPG site, but fully one third of our featured games are not RPGs. I can get behind it if the game is good, but "let's pick a non-RPG!" should not be a fucking factor in the decision. They don't need to be arbitrarily picked due to equal opportunity employment requirements.
Anyway, my vote for Very Retrouvaille stands as before. But it's not necessarily my final choice, since there are probably like 1500+ other new games from Release Something Weekend. I've only even looked at like ten of them, I'm sure there are some gems in there.
author=JudeI did put it in the Gamespot under WAVEMAKER around that time.

You are way ahead of me. This is why you make the big RMN bucks.

Whoa -- easy there, bud! No need to go all "Charlie Sheen" on my opinion, here (besides, I was just mainly going with what you originally picked, lol. Perhaps I should have rephrased my original statement).
...This is why I'm not the best person to hire when it comes to picking games to be featured. X_x
Talking Time also finished the TTBros expansion. I know that one's been thrown around a few times but honestly I'm a little hesitant to do another Mario game so soon.
You should totally make my game featured.
So it can get trashed and torn apart by reviews.
Also, it needs a Let's Play. So it can get trashed even more.
