save OFF for an unusually slow month (November or December, or even the months of Summer) so that people can get a chance to check this game out, ideally someone who just bought a new computer, or has a lot of time on their hands, is going to browse RMN and see OFF and download it. (...if you want more people to become invested in rpgmaker and it's community, you bring them in with OFF)

This game is huge, hg101, wrote an article about and even did an interview with it's creators. it's arguably as big as Yume Nikki, Palette and Corpse Party, games have which put rpgmaker on the map and demonstrated it's competence at competing with commercial games. This one in particular is incredibly important as well, to the french rpgmaker community.

4 reviews all giving it 5/5 seems a bit suspicious to me.
There's usually at least one hater out there, no matter how good a game is, there's always haters.

(If the current event didn't have that rule about reviewing games with 1 or less review I could be that hater - oh well.)

I'm all for Chronicles. They fit the anniversary.

Good call. I ditto this nomination.

I've played parts of Umbral Soul, and while like any other game it definitely has its flaws, I will agree that the hype is at least partially justified. There's an enormous amount of details to be found, combat is quite complex without being frustrating, and the narrative is very powerful. Despite all the comic relief, I personally found the story to be a bit too depressing, which is why I haven't played more of it yet. There's also some issues with the mapping, a very high encounter rate, and spelling errors. Based on my impression, I wouldn't call it a full 5 star game, but a reasonably high rating does seem appropriate to me.

Though, as far as I know, the developer is currently working on producing an enhanced version of the game, so if a Feature is being considered, it would make sense to wait for that either way.

Ha! Looks like ol’ Dyhalto managed to finally get his wish afterall and Nebulus has finally been featured for this month. Awesome!
