Tastes Like Spelunky

There's an updated version of TLS available now! It contains a revamped version of the patch GameOverGamesProductions made, as well as the new checkpoint object for custom levels. You should check it out! Especially if you're participating in the Tastes Like Spelunky RPG Maker Network Community Metroidvania!

There were a handful of things that needed fixin' in TLS, so a corrected version has been uploaded. They aren't exactly huge problems, but it's a fix nonetheless. Use the TLS Alone download if you already have a copy.

I've released a new version of this mod! As of the moment, it's still pending approval. But this release features five new items that weren't even in the original Spelunky! Or, at least, weren't implemented in it.

Jordans - athletic shoes that'll have you running faster and jumping higher than ever before.

Ninja Suit - crawl across walls and ceilings. Foes have a harder time spotting you in this.

Death Mask - hit your foes with the Touch of Death! Pressing F while holding a stunned enemy banishes their soul to the abyss. Kill enough of them this way, and the gods of death will make it worth your while...

Shuriken - a mighty throwing star. Combine with the Ninja Suit for maximum effectiveness!

Grappling Hook - out of ropes? No problem here! Press F and it'll help you reach all sorts of heights...assuming you have a solid place to throw it from.

The new download doesn't have the original Spelunky or any of the regular files with it, so you won't be able to run it all alone. Get the first version and copy this one over! Or jam it in with your own copy of Spelunky if you have one.
