yes, 8 stages. But compared to the previous 10 Robot Master levels, these are nowhere near as huge. They are more like medium sized. So you can easily beat them in one sitting, which is sort of a requirement with classic MM games.

Heh, this is by no means, an EASY Mega Man game. But it isn't stupid hard either. (looks at MMX6) So yes, I'm aware of what stupid hard is what is fun and rewarding and not frustrating and difficult. We are trying to tread a fine line between the two and the testers are doing a good job of calling us out when we bull$hite the player. lol

Dr. Wily should just build a sky-high tower like the Tower of Babil or something, making Megaman climb like 100 floors!

I think he did that in Mega Man 10, but it only consisted of one level and it was short.
