Game-breaking bug.

Just a heads up to those of you playing through Enelysion. If you are playing Ver 1.2 ( the latest release ), there is a game-breaking bug after you fight the bandit leader for the second time ( around 3 hours into the game if you are playing regularly ), because I stupidly deleted the map ( and two others ) that the scene was supposed to transfer to. I'll get up a patch asap.

If I do continue with Vol 2, I'm going to have to rehaul Vol 1 as well. It's a mess ( editor-wise ), to be quite frank. My second game appears surgically clean by comparison. ^^

So, I guess there'll be a version 1.2.1 or 1.3, after all ...
Hah, yes. I hate doing all these patches for the game, so the next release will be an open beta. So players can just open up the game and fix any bugs themselves, rather than uploading a new patch every single time.

I royally suck at this.

1. That's not really what "open beta" means. It means that you upload the beta version of the game for everyone to play, and the players then report bugs to you, which you collect and fix.

2. This is going to cause version conflicts. What if there's two bugs on one map, or what if there's more than one way to fix a bug?

3. This screws everyone over who doesn't want spoilers.

Why don't you just allow players to apply for closed beta to you, then send that beta to them in private, collect the bugs and release the version with all the fixes?
