Quitting?

I'm thinking of quitting to make updates to this game for A WHILE.
The reason being is because Nobody I repeat NOBODY helps AT ALL to improve this game. I get NO COMMENTS, NO CRITISIZM, NOTHING. I work my ass off to make this game to make it as great as possible but if noone is going to give me feedback and just leech off of every single game, I might as well just stop. It was fun for a while, but now since I have no idea how to improve this game, it has been hell trying to get people to comment.

I don't know if I'm going to quit altogether or just a while.
I'm still thinking.

Updates for 3/5/12

This week in Firekingdom, a special monster has come lurking for spring fever. If one wishes to kill him though, he in return, will access the NEW GLOVES that increase Experience depending on what the activity is.
Combat gloves: 1.5x experience on any monster (lasts for 100 kills) (Best to be used at bosses)
Fishing gloves: 1.5x experience on any catch (lasts for 300 catches) (Best to be used on shark (if you have the legend scrolls for it))
Agility gloves: 1.5x experience (on any lap of a course for 100 laps)(Best to be used on the best lap you can use (if you have the legend scrolls for it))
Legend gloves: 1.5x experience (every time one finishes the whole set of legend floors from 1 to whatever as high as you can go, one will receive "fragments" in their inventory and will be able to be traded in for EXTRA xp depending on one's level. It can be used for 10 "trade-ins" which is quite a LOT of xp.
(Example for Legends gloves:
You are 50 Legend and you decide to use the gloves for a run in the legend floors.
You do 1,2,3,4,5, and 6, and trade in the fragments.
The equation used is (((Highest fragment*# of fragments)*Level)^2)/(Level)
This comes out to be 64800 Experience averaged.
One can reach up to 600000 experience per trade in, so 6M xp is max.

I hope you enjoy the gloves update. Have fun!

Updates for 2/22/12

Marking the early beginning of spring, everyone is putting on their festive hats and doing a jolly dance. Get your farming tools and seeds ready, because this spring will be a good one.

-On March 1, farming will be much easier for everyone.
*Death rates will lower by 40% (average)
*Waiting time for plots will be HALVED.
This will greatly boost experience gained, and most likely will make a lot of you happier.

-A new creature has made its way onto the Fire Kingdom plane. It is a rare species, and will only be able to KILL ONCE. By killing it, one will receive either a pair of melee, fishing, agility, legend, or farming gloves. The gloves will start with 100% charges, and will go down based on the experience gained. The experience boost will be a solid 1.5x until the gloves dissapear. Once done with the charges, you may NOT recharge the gloves, but instead choose another pair for a mere cost of 200,000 Coins. (5 gloves are able to be used, meaning this would cost 800,000 Coins.)

!* When using the gloves with farming, it will also use the death and time boost.
(Calculations) Yew tree 29000XP/80minutes->43500XP/40minutes:
-21750XP/hour normally (without deaths)
-65250XP/hour during spring
This is a 300% INCREASE! Hopefully you will consider farming over spring break :)
Enjoy the update ;P

Updates for 2/17/12

A new rare species of fish has traveled upstream in the Fire Kingdom waters. This fish is a RARE catch and will depend on your fishing level and fishing area.
NOTE: It can only be fished outdoors, so sharks will not work.
This fish will have a 1/1000 chance at level 1 at the sardine fishing spot.
Every level obtained will go up 1 level on the "chance" scale. Ex: Lv2: 2/1000; Lv60: 3/50
The fishing spot will also affect the rate. Sardine: x1 catch rate; Tuna x1.1 catch rate; Salmon 1.2 catch rate; and lobster x1.25 catch rate.
This will make the maximum catch rate for the rare fish 3/40.
The fish can be sold to the man who sails to the Lakiki island depending on your fishing level. The formula used to sell the fish is:

Sq root ((Level^2)*500)

The price will be rounded down to the nearest ones unit (if decimal occurs).
Profit can range anywhere from 22 Coins to 1341 Coins/catch.

If you care:
Level 1 constant: 22 coins *1/1000
A level 1 will receive 22 coins every 1000 catches.

Level 60 constant: 1341 *3/40
A level 60 will receive 100,575 coins every 1000 catches.

Healing:
The fish will also heal your character based on your fishing level.

(Level^2)/7

This means at level 60 it will heal 514 Health, and half will be healed to Mana (257)

But in all honesty, I wouldn't recommend anyone below 40 fishing to use it, since it will heal less than many other potions/fish you could use/buy for a Lot less.

I hope you enjoy this update, More will be coming soon!

Updates for 2/11/12

I wanted to explain some recent changes I have made to the game:
-The mountain area near the fairy in West Lakiki Island has been fixed.
-You can no longer receive more than one fire book.
-You can no longer fight Xes more than once. He is a one-time only boss. That's why he is so high level combat. So you can prepare for the ultimate fight. (Keep in mind he is not the last boss, although he is currently the strongest.)
-The santa quest has NOT been removed, but notifications in Denville to try to do it have been removed. This is because it is not christmas anymore.
-You can now change out of your santa suit while doing the quest, but will not be able to retrieve any presents when not in the costume. You will not be allowed to fight in it.

There will be some big updates soon, so stick around.

Updates for 2/1/12

As the start of a new month and to celebrate 1000 downloads, I have added 3 new quests all basing on player's choice of action. Not all players will get the same rewards/ending. Rewards are all equivalent in price but may benefit in different ways.
-Martha's Stew (Lv.23 Combat, 18 Fishing, 7 Legend)
-The curse of the Misheph (Lv.40 Combat, 23 Agility, 29 Legend)
-A day's end (Lv. 31 Combat, 41 Fishing, 39 Agility, 58 Legend)

One can either get an urothmus ring or a holarian ring as a random "potential" reward. This means that it is not 100 percent achievable. Rates are 1-5 making it a 60 percent chance of achieving a ring, or less than 30 percent for both rings! If one is deemed "unlucky" they will be able to purchase ONE ring of their choice after completing all the extra-sub quests post-completion of all 3 quests.

Legend floors are FINALLY completed and so I am currently working on a Final Boss which i have planned for quite a long time. It will be a seperate dungeon OUTSIDE of the Legend area and will be a secret area only adventurers will be able to access. One must reach a cave which is already half-the-battle as monsters will lurk and follow you around the map. Inside the caves, there are not only strong fire-breathing, rock-throwing, ice-freezing monsters, but also A LOT of puzzles that will test your "intelligence" so to speak. If any adventurer were to travel as far as to even lay his or her eyes on the demonic creature, they would most likely die in a glance.

In other news...

-Door "bugs" have been fixed and patched to look smoother (especially the Ethereal dungeon).
-Some animals have been added with an option to cut their fleece (if one has the proper tools).
-A new way to make archery armour has been added and could save a poor archer quite a bit of money.
-Farming glitch of time reduction should be patched.

Enjoy the updates :) and don't forget to comment.

Updates for 1/26/12

Fire Kingdom has had a nice update this week...

Xes has been released.
It is currently the hardest boss in the game but can only be fought once.
It drops a maul which is considered the best weapon in the game
Pros of maul:
-Very strong
-hits through armour
Cons of maul:
-Very innaccurate
-Not good for magic bosses/monsters.

Another update has been made to farming
-Farming was "too slow" experience-wise so the rate of xp/hour has been slightly increased.
-The timer should flash once plants are ready.
-A teleport to crops has been added
-The teleport requires 40 Farming and 2000 Coins to buy.
-The teleport teleports the player to his desired crop but is used up in the process.

In other news...
-Many items have been given an overhaul to the item interface to make them look fresher.
-The "very good" update is on is way since we passed the 1k barrier. Expect it to help low to high levels alike and give players very fun game-time.

New herbs have been released to farming
They are able to make agility potions
-Requirement 35 Farming

A pet cat has been added for those who have completed the new quest. It will help defeat enemies and find supplies for you while on your adventures.

In other news:
The christmas event is still doable, but costs coins to start (since it isn't christmas anymore).
Farming time has been reduced for growth as it was annoying many people. (Meaning it is twice as fast for XP now).
We are also almost 1k downloads. Once we get there, I will add something special and big to the game!

Finished Deathly Figure quest
-hardest quest in game to date
would reccomend at least 40+ Combat and some common sense.

Some armour graphics have been updated such as the Fire and Diamond equipment.
Whips have a new look as well.
Still drawing more graphics to make the new items in the game look cool ;)

In other news...
The glitch where you would be able to walk through a couple squares on the bridge to Quanzfalls is now gone.
The Web Dungeon should require 70 Legend to access now.
The Web master will sell you a helm after you have obtained one, in the occasion that you lose it.
Enjoy :)

*almost 1k downloads!*

Updates for 1/14/12

Today wasn't an update for new gameplay content, but an update to retouch the beginner parts which I haven't really worked on to make better in years.
-Added fogs, clouds, panoramas to many earlier maps.
-Some scarier places should now be darker than others.

In other news...
-Many items have gotten a image rework. (Items in your inventory).
-I will be working on trees, rocks, and other things soon.
