Progress Report

Updates for 1/11/12

I am back, and ready to update this game to make it as good as it can be.
With my return, I have added a new skill accessible east of Emporia.
This skill is known as FARMING.
-There are herbs and trees
-Herbs can be sold for profit or grinded into substance which can be used with a vial to turn into various potions.
-Trees are WOODEN TREES, NOT FRUIT TREES. Fruit trees might come in the near future with another update.
-Trees give logs which can be fletched into bows depending on the type of tree.
-The resources from herb plants and trees are ONLY given after your herb/tree has fully grown.
-You CAN NOT grow both herbs and trees at the same time. Herbs give more profit, while Trees give more Farming experience.

In other news...
-A various new updates have happened in the town of Quanzafalls:
>There is a fencing guild which is only for the best of combat-ers. In this fencing guild, there is a cooking area, where bread and pizza can be made for health/magic restoration or just to make a profit.
>A new minigame for the new rare helm has been added. (Requires 65 Legend)It requires no combat and is based on reflexes. Once gained, the helm can be upgraded for a HUGE cost of 400,000 Coins in the player's choice. . Keep in mind that the helm already has a decent dose of accuracy, so adding more accuracy would make it extremely accurate.
>The long and awaited dungeon has come. Delve deeper into Urothmus' past and find secret areas and new items. 4 new tops have been discovered in FireKingdom. One with a LEGEND LEVEL OF 70 can attack beasts within the dungeon and sell or upgrade the items received. These items are one of the few items that have an EVADE boost. It is invisible, but the effect is visible. Players can receive up to 20 percent evade with the new body, but only if Urothmus thinks they are worthy of wearing such a powerful piece of armour.

Have fun!

Updates for 12/21/11

Today is a glorious day for the kingdom:

-A new event has been added
You can start this event west of Denville village. It is quite easy to find as it is in one of the beginning maps. It took quite a while to make, but I hope you enjoy it!
-Some Jumping Glitches in certain quests were fixed.

In other News...

-2 New items have come out for your enjoyment and completion of the new holiday quest. These items are NOT RE-OBTAINABLE and WILL go up in value as time goes on, so hold on to these precious items if you want to make some serious BANK later-on.
(When the game is updated, you will be able to retrieve these items from an NPC in the christmas town.)

And Last but not least, Merry Christmas Everyone!

Updates for 12/19/11

-All combat glitches have been successfully fixed! There was a previous glitch still in the game for the exorcist-type quest in east lakiki island.
-A new mysterious dome area has been added to the game. This dome area will be useful in the future. It includes a cavern (secret), and a hill which players will be able to access in the next update.
-There has been a christmas semi-event added. This isn't the event that I was previously explaining. This semi-event is to offer a prize that will help you in-game. It will give you an amount of gold based on your levels. In this event you must find the 3 presents the elf has lost and return them to him in order to claim your prize.
-The fire quest series are going to be updated more frequently to give the new players a better understanding of the story.

In other news...

-Sand Demons have found their place somewhere in the Desert. If you can find them, they might just be willing to offer you their new sand gloves, useful for defeating more sand demons and even for fencing... just don't let them get into the wrong hands...

Updates for 12/16/11

-New quest in creation! There will be a decent reward along with a more in-depth story line about the gods and their rituals.

-Agility has been modified to make it easier to level up for lower levels and harder for higher levels (It has been given more of a curve).

-Legend floor has been added. There is now 7 floors. If anyone is able to get to 60 Legend, they will be able to start it. It also gives a pretty amount of experience to those who are eager to level it up to buy the new rewards. :)

-There has been a previous glitch with the Heaven mini-game, this has been fixed.

In other News...

-I am thinking about adding a level requirement for weapons and armour. This way, a low level with high fishing could not simply just buy a Fire Sword and armour and level up ten times as fast as the average player.

-There will be a christmas event added soon. The reward will also provide a code so when I update the game, you can get the item back simply by entering the code.

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years!

Miscellaneous

Fire Kingdom (Beginning)

FIRE KINGDOM GUIDE

I will be adding guides to help people through my game.
In this guide, I will be explaining how and what to do to get going.

The Tutorial
First off, there is a short tutorial in which the player (you) can choose his/her name, then receives 2 coins. In this tutorial, you are given a quest where you must bring back 1 feather to the farmer. This is done by killing the nearby chicken in the pen. 2 chickens will appear, but don't be alarmed! They are only Level 1. They each have 2 HP and hit 0s most of the time. With your bronze sword you can hit anywhere from 0-2 Damage on these beasts. (It is possible to hit a 3, but it has only happened a couple times.) Once you kill both, bring the feather back to the farmer and you will receive a small reward, which places you at 1 XP from Level 2 Combat. You will then be able to leave the tutorial.

Kirkwood
Once left from the tutorial, you will be placed at the south-west area of the kirkwood forest. This forest consists of Chickens (Level-1) and Bats (Level-3). Each monster has a special drop, the chickens being feathers and the bats being a healing potion.
(I advise you stay away from the bats until Level 3-4)
Train on chickens until you reach a nice amount of feathers you can sell at the kirkwood store north of the forest. They can be sold for 5 Coins each, but this is only so you can buy a potion to heal yourself.
In the Kirkwood town, there are 2 shops. the shop on the right side is for weapons and potions, while the shop on the left side is for defensive gear, such as helms, shields, and armour. Once you sell enough feathers to buy full bronze/or purchase serveral iron items, and buy an iron/steel sword, you should head north where you can leave kirkwood to go towards Emporia. There will be Jr. Ghosts surrounding a big tree, but DO NOT ATTACK THE DOME LORD IN THE CENTER. He is level 15 and pretty difficult to beat unless you are level 10+. Since his melee defense is high, a magic spell is necessary to defeat him at low levels. The Jr. Ghosts are easy to defeat with armour and barely hit anything at all.
These Junior ghosts will drop iron spears which you can sell for profit to the nearby shops.

Emporia/Boat
Emporia is north of this wood area and is a great place to train fishing and combat. But watch out for the emporian rogue, as he steals money/attacks close adventurers.
The mages there drop staves quite frequently, and is a popular hotspot for training.
If one goes north, you can reach the dock where a captain will offer to sail you to other lands if you retrieve his pet rat for him. He says it is easy to see, but it isn't quite!
YOU NEED TO GO ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE KIRKWOOD FOREST AND WALK TO THE EASTERN SIDE TO FIND HIS PET RAT!
(Brotip: One should use arrowkeys with one hand and the enter key with the other for faster reflexes to catch the rat.)
Once the rat is captured, bring it back to the captain and gives you two options he will sail you to. Either you can sail to Lakiki island, or go fishing.
To fish, this is the place to start. I will continue this guide for fishing and Lakiki soon.
Thank you, and enjoy!
