Progress Report III: Doing multiple projects brings dread without care.

Practice Exams is over, but the monstrosity is not yet over.

How embarrassing, to have your game covered by your local media, but your game shows progress less than 10% after... more than a year after the coverage!!! I'm sorry to say this, but I have to bring my focus on other project. The deadline for first chapter is very near. The team (of the mentioned project) procrastinated too much for more than a full year. As usual, real life businesses, but the procrastination level is too far. Worse, the spriter is out that I do the spriting tasks too, even when I'm the battle programmer!


Back about this game. Mapping team is still slow, but they do picking up more pace. The forest area is being redone, making it larger and more structured as a proper forest. Some tutorial pages have been done too. Well, the game's mechanics are pretty weird, the game does need to explain itself :P

Now the game features quick saving, in response of feedback about saving anywhere. You know how quick saving works ;)

Progress Report II: Exams makes more nonsense!!!


Practice Exam is coming up... Trial to survival is near.

Like the last report, mapping team is being very slow... Spriting team is doing pretty well. The menu is being revamped considerably. And as you can see, the game has it's own logo now! Thanks a lot to superkudit!!!

I've posted a footage of battle some days ago. Is there any comments for the camera? It's still something for me to concern... The picture above is the concept of Lyka's form switch, from pickaxe to sword. It is planned to give him new weapon graphics for each new weapon (series).

Now the development team has a new composer. His battle theme's newest prototype makes me miss Battle Network even more TwT. Oh, I've added Characters and Battle System pages. Well, the game's battle system is pretty weird. It needs some explanation.

Those are all I can say.

Progress Report I

Dunno, I feel like to give some progress report of the development in a consistent periods for now.

Mapping is being slow, very slow, lately. I found myself lacking time to work on this too, preparing exams and stuff. There's some progress in improving the battles like new Specials (Skills) and reworking the camera. I'm not sure with the camera work, so I might post a footage of it around this week for further feedback.

And the team has a new composer, since the older composers have given up. I can't scold them since they're new in composing...

Those are for now.

Oh, how I really hate calculus deeply in my heart.

Exams for graduation are pouring down day by day, I hardly breathe to continue the development for now =w=" I hate math and physics so much.

Worry not, the development is still on. The rest of the team is currently building the maps and such. We promise that we'll to give you more details about the story, but you guys have to wait first. We prefer to update here by bulk :P.




A little spoiler, Lyka's pickaxe transformation is done. More info coming soon.

First Demo Uploaded

Now a game demo is available to play. It stretches up to the second boss fight, introducing how the combat and encounter works.
