Super RMN World is a community collaborative project made in Super Mario Bros. X. It's the 5th game in the Super RMN Bros. line; a series of similar projects that have run on this site over the years.

This event was judged by halibabica, Deckiller, nin8halos, Isrieri, and DarklordKeinor. They oversaw the critique and approval of the stages submitted to the project to ensure a high-quality end result. With 78 levels in total, they certainly had their work cut out for them! But it was all worth it. This episode is leaps and bounds greater than everything in the series prior.

The Plot: As a peace offering for his past misdoings, Eli has constructed an art gallery and presented it to Mario and his friends. The paintings inside shimmer mysteriously; they're almost too real! Eli waits at the end to hear what his guests have to say, but can he really be trusted?

You need Super Mario Bros. X to run this game. If you don't have it, you'll need to download it. When you download this game, unzip it into SMBX's 'Worlds' folder. Run SMBX, click 'Start Game', and you're ready to play!

Also, for hints, secrets, and other info about the game, check out the Super RMN World Wiki!

People still care about this game, right?

Alex Mattson liked Yoshi's Archipelago so much that he took my recommendation to check this out, too. He just started his LP series!

So I decided to do a complete playthrough with Link yesterday, and here is a potentially game-breaking bug I found:

If you use your up-slash with Link, you can knock the top of the bouncing shrooms off their stems and leave them hanging in the air.

Seriously. I've recently found out, through a game I am making with him for the All Hallows event, that he can kill Sparkies and Spike Tops just by slashing them (where other characters would need a specific power-up) and own just about every boss type in the game with his down slash. He's kind of broken.

He's bad at precision platforming though. You need to make very different kinds of levels for Link. Putting him in a level made for Mario tends to be a trainwreck.

Link's my go to guy for 2P SMBX. His lack of slide and needing momentum to do long jumps is made up by all of his other abilities including fairy flight when he gets a leaf. You can get into all kinds of nooks and crannies with that and more if you can do the long transform. Plus he doesn't have Mario 1 style health like M&L (fuck you smbx).

I tried to make a level for Mario's Mansion. About an hour later I realized sitting in construction traffic jams was more enjoyable than doing anything in SMBX. it also crashed

In short:

I'm in, if we have some clear guidelines. (I have ideas.)

Didn't you already plan this at some point? I'm in anyway.

I think I will make a topic with my (unrefined) ideas. Stay tuned.

I haven't actually planned fuck all. It's just been "hey we should make a link gam on smbx" for like the last 14 months.

What you don't know is I've been systematically deleting everyone's thoughts of going through with your plan because of your profile picture.

I can feel fingers coming out of my eyes.

I'd take part in this.

Here is the discussion on the Link SMBX game. It is dangerous to go alone!
I finally submitted my review for this game, sorry for the long wait but it's been hell trying to get on the internet lately without proper transportation to a public library, but it's done, but still pending. Some of my comments for most levels are a bit too brief & I apologize in advance. Feel free to comment either here or on the review page on how to do a better review as I might give a review for some of the other RMN games (if they didn't get any or any good reviews) or other community games, like Castles - Masterpiece Set.

I've been meaning to make a Link exclusive game but got caught up in my "Super Mario All-Stars Anthology" game. But I'll be more that happy to contribute to this as a warm-up for MY game: The Adventure of Link 2 (fan sequel to Zelda 2).

And here I was wondering if it'd just slipped your mind or something. :3
Ha. I actually managed to play the whole game over again the last couple of nights mostly beating all the levels as fast as I could mainly using Peach and Link for the boss fights. Ah…such great times. I actually beat it in half the time than I originally did. (Fleetfeet Falls is still crap, though. X_x)

I primarily played it again because I accidentally deleted one of my images for my Super RMN World by mistake - oops. :(

Peach is pretty good for that one too, y'know. The stage isn't as hard as some make it out to be.
Well, at least I didn’t die as much as I did the last time I attempted to beat Fleetfeet Falls, so that’s good…right?

WOOOT this game got featured!

I wonder what happened to my 3rd undeserved achievement badge?

EDIT: Got it, ty <3
I’m so glad that this game finally got featured; definitely one of my favorite RMN games on the site. Good job, you guys. :)
Hey! Please make another project like this and if you do, can I be one of the people who contributed their levels in this episode?
