Plot Overview

In the world of Linguardia, the nations of Rikalia and Dorent are the reigning powers. Although both leaders have been at peace for centuries, a dark cloud is on the horizon. King Richard, leader of the Rikalian Empire, has recently lost his wife and daughter to a pack of demons. Now, his mind twisted from grief, Richard is on a quest for domination. His plan: to harness the power of the six legendary crystals, which, according to scriptures, will bestow the wielder with unimaginable powers if brought together. With Richard on a path of destruction to collect the crystals, war seems inevitable.

Players take control of Epoch Lander, Captain of Richard's Dragon Knights, an elite force within the Rikalian Empire. However, when Epoch begins questioning the morals behind Richard's actions, he is arrested for treason and sentenced to death. With his head full of unanswered questions, Epoch must decide whether to accept his fate or fight for what he believes to be the greater good: even if it means fighting alone.

Soundtrack Complete!

Jose has just finished the last two songs of the soundtrack, bringing the OST to a grand total of 36 songs. With those final two, the Forever's End soundtrack is now complete! I really have to thank Jose for all the hard work he put into these songs. They all sound fantastic, and I can't wait to release the next episode with them implemented. Great job, bro!

Do know though, there are a few songs that will be included with the game that aren't custom. Not many, but a few, mainly because some of my cutscenes were already built around these songs. However, all of the ones included on this gamepage are the custom ones composed by Jose.

With the soundtrack complete, I thought I'd list out a few of my personal favorites. If you have any favorites, please comment and show Jose some love.

Traveling - Overworld Theme

The Reprieve

Dangerous Wilderness

The Death Knight - Marcellus' Theme

Spiritualization

Journeying Forward

Cutting a Path

Yeah, see that doesn't happen normally. Whatever happened with the Unlocker broke it somehow. Which is why I really need that save file to figure it out.
Nico has a second episode been started? Is there a planned released date? Ill continue to hold my breath. :)
EDIT: As for tragar, nico maybe hes just way better at your game then you are. :) OHKOs i never had that.
@NicoB: Aight, sent you a message with it since it's useless to everyone else. xD

@bigtime: Hey, I'm just a player. :P I have no freaking clue as to a) Why the Soul Rend doesn't increase in damage and B) it insta-kills. xD

Could review the game if ya want it, not a paragraph writer, but if you want a review I could. I sometimes go kinda all out for things like that. xD
@Tragar: Hey, I could always use more feedback. If you're up for writing a review, that'd be awesome.
Reading over all this I realized that I never actually played through the game and got everything O_O (I.E. soul rends and the spell powerups with those tokens) As far as scanning and collecting stuff went though I got 100% on everything but the manor.

Yea, you'd like to buffer your "most reviewed game" title, wouldn't you?!
Shoot, this game is one of the best free ones ive ever played. Top four. review done. :)

Cool stuff. Did you submit it already?
Nico can u give us an estimate when the next chapter is going out ?
It looks like you've done a great job here well done!!
I know I said I'd do a review for this, but I've been rather busy in real life. I should be working on this one (as well as Everlasting Journey's) very soon. :o
Definitely, the best game I've played so far. You have to balance the power of some characters, they're too weak like the summoner girl. It requites too much for her to use her special skill. All in all, the game is amazing.

Thanks man. Yeah, I've actually made it easier for her to use her summons in the next release. I appreciate the feedback. ^ ^
Any hints on the next release date?
@bigtime: My aim is sometime early summer! If I keep up the pace, I should be able to pull it off. ^ ^
Awesome, stop judging those games or making LPs. Or whatever your doing. :) :) All seriousness im glad to hear summer.

I suppose I should get around to playing the current version before Summer- I assume the newer one will be compatible with the current. I sincerely hope you left in the Ironic Echo I'd given Epoch early in the game . . .
Hi,

Sorry for my english, i'm french. NicoB you did an absolutely extraordinary work. Your game is just awesome and i really enjoy playin it.

POSSIBLE SPOIL !!!!

But what the hell about the Manor (Lyonnel somethin) ? I played the game seriously, cleared all the area, fight all the monsters i encounter and scan everything (near of level 2 SP), and when i arrive at this manor, i'm level 12 with Epoch. Wtf ? the monsters are all level 15 and even with Slade, they just kick my ass. It's harder than a boss. I dont understand why the difficulty suddenly rises up. Do i have to bash monster ? Cause i ont want.

Well, i will carry on and spend lot of HP/MP potion cuz i want to see what's next. Btw, congratulation, you did an awesome work and it really deserve a donate (do you have any paypall account ?)

Keep doin the good job on chapter 2 !
