Plot Overview

In the world of Linguardia, the nations of Rikalia and Dorent are the reigning powers. Although both leaders have been at peace for centuries, a dark cloud is on the horizon. King Richard, leader of the Rikalian Empire, has recently lost his wife and daughter to a pack of demons. Now, his mind twisted from grief, Richard is on a quest for domination. His plan: to harness the power of the six legendary crystals, which, according to scriptures, will bestow the wielder with unimaginable powers if brought together. With Richard on a path of destruction to collect the crystals, war seems inevitable.

Players take control of Epoch Lander, Captain of Richard's Dragon Knights, an elite force within the Rikalian Empire. However, when Epoch begins questioning the morals behind Richard's actions, he is arrested for treason and sentenced to death. With his head full of unanswered questions, Epoch must decide whether to accept his fate or fight for what he believes to be the greater good: even if it means fighting alone.

Soundtrack Complete!

Jose has just finished the last two songs of the soundtrack, bringing the OST to a grand total of 36 songs. With those final two, the Forever's End soundtrack is now complete! I really have to thank Jose for all the hard work he put into these songs. They all sound fantastic, and I can't wait to release the next episode with them implemented. Great job, bro!

Do know though, there are a few songs that will be included with the game that aren't custom. Not many, but a few, mainly because some of my cutscenes were already built around these songs. However, all of the ones included on this gamepage are the custom ones composed by Jose.

With the soundtrack complete, I thought I'd list out a few of my personal favorites. If you have any favorites, please comment and show Jose some love.

Traveling - Overworld Theme

The Reprieve

Dangerous Wilderness

The Death Knight - Marcellus' Theme

Spiritualization

Journeying Forward

Cutting a Path

In the Heat of Battle - Boss Theme 2

A Dying Planet's Last Breath

Yeah I can't wait for a second game from you myself. The difficulty is probably an easy fix but again I have yet to play a challenging game since about 98 or so. Still an Ironman Mode would be awesome just reduce the players stats to like 10% or something XD.

Hey Nico, if you need me to beta Episode Two for you just hit me up. I'll be glad to do it again :)

I'll test it too if you want, for what it's worth. As I said before it's a great game - a rarity in this day and age - and i'd love to help you improve it anyway I can.
Long time no see, NicoB! I've been AWOL lately (real life got in the way), but that hasn't stopped me from silently watching the development of this game. I'm certainly up to being a tester for this game again, should you grace me with such an opportunity.

Anyway, I hope Episode 2 is going well!
Also, there's something I noticed. Anybody else played Demon Legacy?

If so, I suspect the Slade here and the Slade there are one and the same person.
@Zadok: Hey man, I will definitely hit you up for testing when Episode 2 is ready. You did a fine job testing last time. ^ ^
@Jascarell: Hahaha, sorry man, but nope. All characters here are completely original. Although I am a big fan of Demon Legacy as well. ^ ^ And yeah, I'd love to have you as a beta tester. I'll take all the help I can get.

Heh, I can't help but draw a lot of comparisons between the two of them. Could list them all if you want. It's uncanny.

Also, as I said, i'm also willing to test Episode 2 when it's ready.

Awesome. :D

Also, as for the similarities...

---
Headband.
Possessed by Malvir - Shadar, perhaps?
Murdered his mentor in cold blood. The official story about what happened to Narik?
Demon Hunter. Fits in with his Demi-God past.
Combat style. Magic paired with a two-handed sword.
Dress similar. Black Armor and the like.
Anti-Demon runed sword. He got a powerful runed sword from Loki, and used it throughout Phantom Legacy.
There's a few others I can't remember. Meh.
Hahaha, I hadn't thought about it before. I suppose there are some similarities. However, I find Slade in Demon Legacy to be a much more upbeat, likeable, social person, while my Slade is a much angrier, bitter, solitary person. But I do see where you're coming from. ^_^;;
Yeah, but you have to take into account what happened in Phantom Legacy. Older, more experienced, more pragmatic. Not at all upbeat and likeable.

So, FE's Slade being "grown up" DL Slade isn't such a farfetched theory. And would be pretty awesome, if i'm being honest. Add a whole new dimension to the character. You can understand why he's the way he is.
Sorry man, I appreciate the idea, but I'm not doing that.
Didn't expect you to, it's more something I think of myself. A personal thing, if you will.

At any rate, looking forward to the next episode. Obviously.

Looks like I'll have to grab this again... and may test at some point too. You ever need wonky panoramas or textures let me know. I'd really better see how things have progressed.

Just keep trying. It's pretty easy. It took me a 10 mins.
NicoB, do you mind if I cross over some characters from FE to my game?
