Pokémon RMN Version Demo Finally Released

... And it only took me around four years to get a public release out!
Here's some info:
> Again, the demo "ends" around the point you reach Makskor Town, but feel free to explore from there.
> Your game's save file will be stored in your default "games" folder as oppose to the folder of the download. When the finished release is out, all you need to do is just play again and you'll be back where you left off. No copying needed!
> Unlike other RMXP games, this game neither supports a functional fullscreen nor joypad input. I asked the guy running the project about it, and he was like "nah~" and I was like ":/" and he was like "<3"
Other info can be found in this blog:

Enjoy! And if you happen to stumble upon a code, send me a private message. ;)
EDIT:
If you get an error that reads: "RGSS104E not found." Go to the configuration file named "Game" and open it in notepad. Under "Library=" change "RGSS104E" to "RGSS102E" instead, and the game should work.

The Button Input Processing command is really useful because, unlike the "if button is being pressed" condition, it requires an actual new button Input (so no holding a button down) and pauses the event command list until a button has been pressed. This makes it great for creating choice menus without scripts or the actual main menu.
Would it help you if I quickly set up a sample map with an event that demonstrates the function?
Sure!
Well, I've reached the end!
At first I didn't notice any change at all with the fabulous five until the fifth, where the 5 Plugla had lots of different moves!
Honestly, i still think it's kinda boring, since that was the only time I noticed the different moves, but now I see it more as a way to train one Pokemon up a lot, since you can use the Pokemon that beats whatever Pokemon each trainer was using. I used Digloch for 5th, javelbush for 4th, and Curvri for 3rd. Very handy, I have to say.
Anyways, in regards to triple triad, it's pretty tough and enjoyable the first time, then I breezed through the second. The money rewards were... underwhelming. 1500 dollars gets you 2 super potions and an antidote. Meh.
Lastly, Holy shit those trainer rematches are tough. The camper and fisherman were fine, but the aroma lady? Level 28 Chibawa!? Holy shit. Anyways, next time I play I'll get those 35 Pokemon.

@Ratty524:
Here you go. I hope my explanations are not too convoluted. Once you've played around with the function a little, it's pretty straightforward. Hopefully this is helpful at all.

@sieromem: Yep, the concept with the Fab five is that while they use the same Pokemon, every one of them has a slightly different movepool and a different "role" on their team. Not much has changed since the beta I think.
I think Triple Triad is mostly a matter of whether you have the best cards or not. I'm not sure tweaking the difficulty of the current batch would help much, but I could at least make future card shops a bit more challenging. Also, duely noted on the cash rewards.
Also, I'll definitely tweak the rematches. Thank you!
@Neversilent. I can't seem to open the map through RMXP. Maybe you could send it as a project file?

Oh, welp. Sorry about that. Here it is as a project folder.
(Also, why in the world does my autocorrect want to capitalise the word "welp"?)

No problem! If I need to explain something better or can somehow help you with anything else eventing-related, please feel free to let me know. Fiddling around with events in RMXP is a thing I really enjoy doing, and I want to support this game as best as I can even with my limited abilities.
Uh HEH HEH HEH.
I uh, found another bug lol.
I tried to reenter the building that gave you the pokephone, and got stuck on the stairs.

Thanks!
I knew I should have put this out to beta testers
