Interesting revelation and potentially interesting identity crisis

Beyond Eden is almost done! It's very exciting.
This game has been canceled three different times. During one of those periods, I attempted to retell the story in a different way with new characters and similar places. I made loads of notes and then somehow got distracted and forgot about it.
Flash forward several years later, and Beyond Eden has been rewritten, but at it's core it is still about three people from Earth who try to be heroes in a fantasy world. I do love this current version! And it's almost finished!

But I just found the work I started for the redo and finding this other project has got me thinking...
The new plot and characters I had written were really good. I added much more mythology to the world, more spiritual symbolism (Yay pretension!), and a better plot that got me really excited. I don't know how I could have forgotten about it!
I really want to make this game too. (After Beyond Eden is done, of course) It will kinda be a retelling or a reimagining. I imagine it in the way that the Zelda games recycle places and some plot devices but keeps it fresh with new features.

I was already planning a post-Beyond Eden project (Time travel RPG) and started working with a CBS for it, but now I am thinking that I need to post-pone my Chrono Trigger ripoff in favor of this "Beyond Eden 2"
Here is the problem...
I am not totally in love with the name. While I feel it does capture the spirit of the game, the current name is "Beyond Eden: Chronicles of Nod"
It got this name eight years ago when the project began and has never changed.

There was even work done on a short prequel (with a terrible plot) about the pursuit of Othniel's pregnant mother as the heroes try to prevent her (and failing) from having the half-demon baby called "Beyond Eden: Original Heathen" (This game will NEVER be made)

Calling the retelling "Beyond Eden 2" just isn't gonna work. It isn't a sequel. It's a retelling. The obvious choice is to just call it something like "Beyond Eden: Stories that maybe someone cares about"
But there is already a romance novel, flight simulator software, punk band, and song (by a different band) with the same name.

If I'm going to establish some kind of "series" or "brand" it has to be something a little better or more unique.
So... I'm thinking of changing the name. Is it stupid to change the name so close to release? The game has changed enough to warrant it, but what if someone from the past tries to search for it by the old name? Will it be confusing? I kinda feel like I have to either stick with the name and run with it or change it now.
I feel like for some reason (maybe people are turned off by religion?) people don't like or notice the name. It feels very neutral. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Eden's a pretty widely understood concept. So you can probably leave it in. The 'Chronicles of Nod' part however is going to constantly remind people of
