New features:

  • Improve ingame performances
  • Add Inputs touch event
  • Remove F12 shortcut to quit game (use alt+F4 instead)
  • On level up, don't display statistics that doesn't apply to the hero
  • Level up window: diplay window always at the same Y position
  • No more wait when status effect doesn't apply in battle
  • No more wait when effect common reaction is instant commands in battles
  • Don't display affected status icon if it doesn't have any picture
  • Fusion status message into just one for every target affected


Fixes:

  • Engine crash if model hero map object set to none
  • Poison, burnt status should at least inflict 1 by default
  • Example game chest in tent not giving a potion
  • Weird camera small behaviour
  • Skills/Items description: no display decimals on damages

Also, question, is there a limit to map size? And how big is it?(I belive rpg maker vx ace's was 500x500)
Hi Xexu, I'm glad to see your interest for my project !

About characters, you will be able to choose your frame numbers when you are choosing each graphic look (you can also choose a default value in options). For 8 directions, it will be possible too, I will make an option too but this is not implemented yet.

And I second "screw Steam". Hate Steam. We should be able to buy this direct, online, without the DRM hell that Steam is.

I though I had subscribed to this project until I realized that there had been some updates without me being informed do not fear the issue has been rectified. I can not wait for the release of this you can be sure you will have at least one buyer.

Yep, you can assign your key inputs for the game, and even create your own commands (it only allows you to use it on your event commands). For Zelda, yep it could be, but for now I don't plan to code it. You'll have to fiddle with scripts and events, such as RPG Maker.

Amazing stuff! When able, I'd love to see more of the editing interface; I'm curious to see how similar the database stats and what-not are to RPG Maker.

Either way, love how the graphics in the sample stuff look, and this sounds like an amazing concept. =D

Ahah I need to give more feedbacks to updates here! I'm back. :D
I downloaded this and I must say... I'm disappointed. It looks nothing like the screenshots show, it crashes when I try to change tilesets, it's not ready. I don't even have all the graphics shown in the screenshots.

Unfortunately, it looks like I'll be sticking with RPG Maker or Smile Game Builder.
