Generic RM2k3 RTP Gaming Fun!

I always wanted to make that game based on everything I enjoyed as a kid. This is the end result.

Hero's Realm creates a super-synergy of proactive features to create a gaming experience greater than the sum of its parts.

Lead four heroes and their teams against the evil forces of Mephistocles, the Lord of Demons in this retro-RPG adventure. Toggle between the four heroes as you explore dungeons, ascend towers, spelunk caves, save villages and defeat the forces of evil! Reminiscent of classic RPGs such as Dragon Quest III and Final Fantasy V, Hero's Realm is a fun romp in old-school RPG nostalgia.

-22 character classes (12 base classes, 4 hero classes, 3 secret classes, 3 master classes)
-TONS of game content and sidequests
-Classic NES-era and SNES-era RPG gameplay
-Great music
-Multi-party switching system (like Kefka's Tower in FFVI!)
-Multi-party tactical battles (at least 5 of them!)
-Massive world map
-Fun

The story is split into 5 chapters, with each of the first four chapters focusing on a new hero, and the 5th chapter bringing them all together.

Chapter 1: Won't Somebody Please Think of the Children?
Chapter 2: There is Something Fishy Going on...
Chapter 3: Land of the Rising Son
Chapter 4: True Calling
Chapter 5: The War on Terror

Is there any reason the guard won't let me "break out" King Cobra at night? (Let alone being there in the first place, at night?)

Is there any reason the guard won't let me "break out" King Cobra at night? (Let alone being there in the first place, at night?)
Which chapter?

!Spoilers!

Chatper 1:
You cannot break out the King Cobra in ch.1. You visit him at night after trying to get into the Cobra Club hideout. Since he is aware of your cause he will give you his Cobra Club membership card.

Chapter 5:
After visiting Remus and discovering you must travel to the Four Towers to obtain the Halo, you discover that the towers are locked by a magic door, for which you need a Magic Key. The chancellor of Remus has one but will not give it up. However, thieves from the Cobra Club are willing to steal it for you if you break out the King Cobra from jail in Stromholm. You learn of this by visiting the local pub of Remus at night. Head to Stromholm, wait for nightfall and then take the cellar to outside of the south wall. There you will find your Cobra contact who will show you a secret entrance to the jail. Go that way and rescue the King Cobra. Once free, the contact will reward you with the Magic Key.

I hope this helps!
...nevermind, and sorry for the spoiler thing, The spoiler tags don't want to work for me for some reason. What I needed to do was actually very obvious. There was just a very good feeling asking the creator himself how to play his game if you know what I mean.
Is there any simple way of making a lot of cash to buy the ship?
That or
is there any way to recover the money I lost when I got robbed in that town with the clock?

Thanks!

I just fought a lot of monsters, I grew a few levels and got a good bit of money, I also sold things I didn't need anymore.
There is no way to recover the money (why would you sleep at such a shady inn? ;)

However, in San Vegas, at the top of Francis Miller's castle (iirc), there is a diamond swimsuit worth a ton of money. Find it and sell it.

I was drunk and it was late, and the innkeeper seemed so nice! It wasn't my fault.

Grrrrrr.....

Also, I tried party switching during a battle, and it crashed the game, don't know if you know about this, kentona.

I have NO IDEA why this happens sometimes! It is completely random. I chalk it up to RM2k3 being stupid.
I have a question...I am on chapter 5 and I am trying to find the electronic key card for Elfros. The faq says that it is in the ruins, but I have searched every square inch of them and have not been able to find it...I even tried searching underfoot in half of the map. All I am able to do it seems it activate the computer (it says it boots, then it says something about cryo pods failing and to evacuate immediately, then shuts down). The other 2 rooms don't seem to have anything for me to click on/get other than those 3 chests. If anyone knows where to get this keycard, the help will be much appreciated! Thanks alot in advance.
(yes, this game has Electronic Keycards and computers. Hero's Realm has everything)

I had to load up the game again to figure this out . So, in the Ancient Ruins on Tundraca there is a compound. Enter the compound and go north to a narrow hallway. This will take you to a snaking corridor that has a bunch of defense cameras set up. Once past them, there is a small room with a ladder. Take the ladder to the roof. On that small roof section there are 2 chests - one with a Powerglove and another with the Electronic Keycard.

Once that is in your inventory you should be able to open the compound in Elfros.

EDIT:
I just realized now that you are searching Elfros for the keycard. The keycard is not in Elfros. It is in the Ancient Ruins on the island of Tundraca (a snow island just north east of Kremsland). Refer to the world map if you haven't already been to Tundraca!

NO! NOT SPAM! It was so clean.. TT_TT
Quick question:
I'm trying to get to Indhopal for the 3rd artefact but can't cross the desert because the sandstorm. Tried everything I could think of. Even looked at the world map with the editing program...mountains are blocking everything.
Is there another way to get to Sudash in Chap. 5??
No, there is no other way to get to Sudash other than through the desert. I had randomly placed Windstorm events that throw you around. The trick is persistence - sooner or later you will happen upon a path through the desert to Sudash.

But, if you want here is a path that will work:

From the northern most entrance to the desert, here are the directionalities and number of step on desert tiles that you have to take to cross safely:
Right - 9
Up - 14
Right - 19
Up - 2
Right - 12

The other option, the longer but safer one, would be to hug the mountain range along the south and east. so just go to the southernmost entrance to the desert and walk along right next to the mountains until you get to Sudash.

I hope this helps!
Ah no wonder...whenever I enter the desert, my guy stops moving so I thought I was actually stuck. Now I get it.
Good to hear the Aladdin music again :)
The Aladdin music was a nice touch. :)

Thankfully I posted a walkthrough!

Thanks for this game. I'm enjoying it very much.

I'm mainly posting here for help. I am at the very end of the game and I have 99 tiny medals. Finding the last one is driving me crazy. Maybe you can help with a few questions:

1.) The map of Okasa on the website doesn't match the map I am seeing ingame. I wonder if that is stopping me from getting a medal? On another forum somewhere, you posted a link to an alternate map, but it's still not the map I am seeing in game. In the Tiny Medals list (thanks for that btw) I see it references an "east bath house". I can only find one bath house, and it's in the west. There's an empty pot. I certainly can't remember all the way back to chapter 3 to see if I got this one. Also, there's a "factory" in the list. Just to the left of the bath house, there's a big building that looks like a factory to me, but when I go inside, it's a library. To the east, there's a smaller building full of blacksmiths - is this the factory in question?

2.) What exactly is the "hidden crypt" in the pyramid? I've checked that place over and over and over and I can find plenty of pots, but I'm not sure what is supposed to be "hidden". I know I got a few medals on my first time through, I just don't remember what floor they were from. Maybe there's a whole room I haven't located yet? Or is it the little room with the bed and 4 pots?

3.) Cave of Truth alternate dimension - This chest is the one to the north at the end of the maze with invisible floor itles, right? And when you get up to that platform you can see the chest with the divine item at hte top of your screen? I want to make sure there isn't another chest I'm missing.

If I've got all of those above, what could I be missing? I've checked every town and dungeon off the list. Is there a "trouble" medal that you see people missing a lot, even with the guide? I have a feeling it's either a dungeon medal or Okasa.

Again, thanks for this great game. If you are interested, I can post my ratings for each of the classes and some balance suggestions after I finally get my lightsaber and beat this game.
