This is the story of a couple of traveling Freelance Mercenaries and their quest to save a small, peaceful village from the scourge of the Goblin King and his lackeys.

Originally this started as an idea for a short comic, but I decided it would be a good fit for my first rpg maker game.

It's going to be pretty short, you should be able to play through in one sitting in about an hour, even with the inclusion of the SECRET BOSS FIGHT!!!

I'm also planning on having the difficulty pretty high but balanced to put your rpg skills to the test; after all the Goblin King is rumored to be a masterful swordsman...

Tangerine Update 8/2/18

Things have been slow, but I've been actively porting Tangerine over from RPG Maker Xp to MV. I'm going to totally change the battle system to a side view and take advantage of MV's upgraded tools.

Edit: You'll notice there's a new demo available in the downloads section now!

Love the graphical style of this!
Yes. Graphic style is very original!
I saw a game image and was like "wow, this gives gives me the vibe of a good webcomic for some reason!", then I saw the project description and laughed at myself.

The idea of it giving off a webcomic kinda vibe is really appealing to me!

Thank you guys very much, I spent way too much time fretting over the look of this game.
I'm still alive and I'm still working on this! Work and life just slowed me down. I'll have new screenshots posted at some point.
