We All Fall Down is a post-apocalyptic survival RPG using the Pioneer Valley resource packs in a combination of Mythos and High Fantasy to create a war-torn wasteland of 1940s America, specifically set in Texas, 100 years later. It shares Western and Mystery themes in the overarching design of Survival.

Story:
Follow the story of two strangers who find themselves waking in a derelict bunker with little idea as to how they got there and why. As fate would have it, the two are more entwined than they could have guessed as they are both thrown into a world of survival against the odds that the Texas Wasteland has to offer. Men and monsters alike around every corner are waiting and willing to stop them from getting back to civilization.

But is there more to these two than either one is letting on?

Hello RMN! I'm happy to announce that I finally made a gamepage for We All Fall Down! It's a game I've mostly been developing in secret, save for a few testers like Luiishu and Kevincalanor and a few others. (who have been a big help so far)As well as a few things I needed help with that this wonderful community has made possible.

Anyways! I figured it was about time I put this up and start working on getting a wider audience. I'll have a good chunk of a DEMO up soon. The download size is abit big at the moment, so I'm going to work on cutting it down some.
This game is going to be my magnum opus and my main project for the coming years. It's something I hope to go commercial with in the far, far future. (when I get the nerve and stability)


The DEMO will probably run about 1hr-1:30, maybe more, maybe less depending how much extra content you partake in.

I'm just really excited to have this up and can't wait to have y'all try it out!
Hopefully my next blog will have a little more meat as to the actual game, but for now I felt it was good to have the first blog talking a little about the background. Until next time, RMN! Your firearm setup appears to be stuffed up a bit, InfectionFiles; you can equip the ammo as a weapon, nothing in the ammo slot, and the weapon is a skill you can't use even with the ammo in the weapon slot. I think you messed up the slot ID setting for the ammo items.

Lol, whaat? That shouldn't even be possible. Could it have been food or water intake?

As for the firearms, I swear something is happening somewhere. It's been working for me but I've gotten the report of it not too. I might have made it worse with the recent update. Well thank you either way and I'll check it out soon.

That's something I used to have but it was a sort of frankenscript and got in the way more than it was worth. The water/hunger used to have a HUD on screen at all times but it messed with cutscenes really bad. There's something I can try to make it simple like the characters stating they need X or something.

It's in the main menu, which I know is a bit of a pain to always check. :(

There actually is something like that but I found it way too harsh, since if you're in dire need of food or water it becomes even more unattainable. Which is real lol but I found less fun.

Well, from my experience there's not really a problem with the food/water supplies so far in the demo - almost the opposite, really, so this would help them matter a bit more. And like I said before, you can get both bars past full state.

And I think it would be interesting if walking consumed less of either resource then the current constant, but running increased it relative to it. Moreover, water level would go down really slow in the bunker, slower than now in the buildings, same when outside but in the shade, and much faster when out in the open sun.

I'll see what I can do maybe make that more interesting! And yes you can go over the max so in case nothing goes to waste if you're eating/drinking a lot.

And I definitely like that idea! It makes sense for at least water to run slower indoors so I'll check that out. Thanks ^.^
