OGG
All the songs in this version of the music pack are in OGG format. They all have loop points built in them, so every song will loop non-stop when played in your game. All the extra repetition in the OGG versions of the songs has been cut off to conserve space, so some of them don't last as long in media players as their MP3 counterparts do.

MP3
All the songs in this version of the music pack are in MP3 format. This version has been tailored to be more like a regular videogame soundtrack release.

author=SuperMegaNick01As the others said, it is your choice and depends on what kind of impression you're trying to give. You might want to check the Restaffs available at various sites ( The official English as well as Rpgmaker.de) and Aaron Krogh's work for other tunes besides these; mix and match to give the feel you like.
Yes awesome! I'll also throw in some other musics for other areas! Thank you!
Thank you very much for creating this music pack and allowing designers like me with no musical talent, and/or are too lazy to learn/do it ourselves to have great music in our games!

Just an FYI, but Cornflake is credited as Conrflake in the txt track listing.

Awesome Music Pack I'm going to put it to good use with my RPG I am making and I will list this site as the resource for the music.
Yo. I used this music in one of my games and I plan to use it in a future project set in the same game-world. In the former project, I credited the songs at the end of the game like such:
Is that fine? Do I need to credit them any other way?

That should do fine Sated! It's not probably necessary to mention RMN Music Pack more than once, but it's still appreciated all the same!
I originally had music from more than one source, before deciding only to use music from the music pack. It does look a bit strange now that you mention it. Oh well, it's done now.
I am participating in an indie games contest in my town, so I wonder if I can use the "RNM Music Pack" in my game? And then I quote you as composers of every musical part of the game in the credits screen.
I thank them!
This music package is really wonderful, congratulations to all of you!

That should be alright as long as the actual game won't be sold for profit.

Cool ... Who is organizing the contest is the City Hall, so they plan to distribute free downloadable game, because it is about a topic related to the environment and sustainability! Thank you very much!
Just a heads-up - some of these songs will result in copyright claims on Let's Plays.
So far I know for certain that Town of Wishes is one such song. Just figure it's best to let people know that, in case it becomes a factor.

Wow!! how can I not see this beautiful collection yet?? they're very wonderful!! xDD congratulations on the artists! I would love to use some of these beautiful music in my game too! :) xDD
Liberty is right about the song "Town of Wishes". It was put into the Tunecore system, which is strange to do for a video game song you want people to use. It copyright claimed a gameplay video of my own game because of the song, which means it would do it to others as well.
However, now that my game is commercial, I feel it should be mentioned this music pack's copyright license is for non-commercial use only. Thus, one should keep in mind that if they too have switched from non-commercial to commercial, they should remove these songs from their game. Also, if you are planning on making a commercial game with these songs, it's a no-go due to the license.
Much love, friends.
