What program to use.....
Depends how skilled you are. Since you're a beginner, the most recommended programs to make something like that in are RPG Maker 2003 or VX Ace. With 2k3, you can make something like this, but you need to be pretty skilled with using switches, variables, forks, and the works, so I wouldn't recommend it without some practice. With VX Ace, you would need to use scripts for this to get done. But if you're not very good with scripting (which most people are when they're first introduced to VX Ace), they'll become lost without some first hand knowledge about it. My advice to you is to use VX Ace, since its the better of the two and the most current, and make another type of game before moving on to something like that.

@ Meisam - Nice job on the map, looks great! The only last minute change I would do, if you want, is to remove those three boxes in the lower right hand corner and move the three barrels on the left hand corner to the other side of the big red house, so it looks a bit more even. Still, very nice.

I always still get asked and I'm 27! Although, as of late, to counteract this, I've grown a mini-goatee for the summer to see if that would help, and it did. No more asking for my ID, now!
And, back on topic, my mom is almost sixty years old and she thinks that she's twenty-one. I guess age is nothing but a number (even if you do look like it on the outside).

Nice work, bud. But I always wondered, "Why couldn't Enterbrain add a timer in the default menu system when they released this game way back then?" I mean, it looks so simple and it would definitely help. Oh well, at least they did in the later versions.

Lesson of the day: always keep a backup with you, especially when your clumsy girlfriend happens to hold on to your IPod.
