Rage Theme Song

I've just finishing listening to this custom track, and I must say that it's pretty good for somebody who just started composing his own sort of music. When I first listened to this, I can't help but think that this song came from something like one of the "StarCraft" games, with its adventurous sort of heroic feel to it. The only part I didn't really liked that much was the vocals around 0:32. Although most of the vocals did its job and didn't strain itself too much from the overall theme, I just felt that the vocals looping and suddenly stopping / cutting itself took me a bit out of the song. Overall, the theme is pretty sound. Good job, man! :D

The Grumpy Knight

Congrats on getting the featured game of the month, guys! *cracks open the wine bottle*

rpgmaker.net needs your help (again)!

You could always use my money and use it to buy some lunch for yourselves.

A lazy guy? Make rpgs? Pfft.

Don't ever be ashamed to post your game up here just because you see something done on 2k3 and you think your game can't complete with the rest. Pfft...who cares. Even if you're NOT the greatest in the graphical / mapping department, surely your game may offer something superior that most games can't. And even if you're not that very good, all the advice and critique from everyone here just might help you become better at using the engine towards future projects.

Oh...and welcome to the forums, bud. Try not to be lazy and post up your game(s), 'kay? ^^

What are you thinking about right now?

That's great news, Dudesoft -- way to go!

I sure wish I could draw just as good as you... All I can do is write and stuff. :(

Noxie Nation - RPG Maker Youtube Spotlights - New Video :)

Why haven't I noticed this yet? These videos are really amazing and of such great quality! Excellent job!

I guess you're now officially like our Gamespot / IGN reviewer guy for this site. ^^ At least you're far more entertaining than those other guys.

@Ratty524 - I also, too, like the top logo the best. But it usually depends on the backdrop and the color scheme being used as well.

So I am cleaning out my TODO list (hey it grows unwieldly at times!) and I compiled the 16 (!) game project ideas I have into a single list. Most of them haven't been started.

Since I kind of want to share them, I thought I'd post it here.

Adaeus
Generica: The Next Generation
Nu Supra Mairo Bors.
Tragical / T&T
Super RMN Kart
Zelda III: The Adventure of RMN
Settlers of Kentan
Aether Pulse
The Unicorn of Death / Alicorn
How To Evolve Your Dragon
The Children of the After
Veridian Dance
Android Dryad
The King and Guy
Missiongarde
Forgotten Lands clone

All these games sound good, but my picks go to "Generica: The Next Generation" & "Super RMN Kart."

Bud, you NEED to finish GTNG off. Not just because I enjoyed playing the first one recently, but it seems, from your post, that you are pretty much finished with this game. All you need to do is finish the final dungeon / boss, correct? Why not just finish it and get this game off the bucket list forever.

Super RMN Kart would be BOSS! If you ever decide to work on this...my utmost respect for you will increase by tenfold -- even more than it is today (and that's still pretty high)

Finally, "Moderator Mountain" will become a reality. :D

Overcoming Creative Blocks In Game Making

Great article. I also find that sometimes, even when you work on your game for a very long period of time for many days in a row after getting a creative boost, you just wake up that odd day and stare at the screen and go, like..."Um...I can't think of anything for today... WHAT THE *bleep* IS WRONG WITH ME!?!?!? *cries*," or you're just super indecisive when trying to figure out something. But I always find that the best tonic is to just take a day break, go outside and play some sports to keep your mind off of things, or listen to some new music and just spend some time dreaming of brand new ideas...

Of course, it's always interesting to hear what other people do to get over that creative rut, as not always the same type of advice will work for everybody.

I'm still working on this!

Two jobs in the summer? Wow... Where do you happen to work at?

Anyways, no biggie. Just concentrate on making some hard earned money and occasionally work on your game when you have the time.

The sum of my Kentonas is too much for you to comprehend.
