ATEN'S PROFILE

I'm a hobbyist game maker. I like making games as both a hobby and a challenge. I'm currently trying to make a game using the Linear Motion Battle System similar to Tales of Eternia. If you are interested, check out my youtube of the progress! Located here:

I also dabble in programing software and I've made some nifty utilities but my best one so far is a Save Editor for Final Fantasy XII. Get it here:

RPG 2003 Request

Easily coded using variables and switches. You're new, so have a look around the help file again. Go through the demo projects over and over. The best way to learn is to do it yourself, you know, the whole "give a man a fish" saying. If you still have problems despite giving it your best try, then post again, I'll help you.

Final Fantasy Dreams

Problem is on your computer. Update your codecs man, don't be in the stone age. That problem is most DEFINITELY an audio problem because your PC doesn't have the proper audio/video codecs.

I strongly recommend using KLITE codec pack. Get here

http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm

I suggest either the Full or the Mega package. Your choice.

How tolerant are you to legitimately difficult bosses?

post=126853
the only things that ruin a boss battle for me is forced level grinding , (Ozma from Final Fantasy VII is often reffered such)

Wrong. It's the total OPPOSITE. You could beat Ozma even if you were Level 1 with the right equipment and strategy. So Ozma is pretty much a "legitimately difficult boss".

RMEventFactory - The batch tool for creating RM2k(3) events!

Yeah, I pretty much don't get it either. All I see it as good for is that you can copy RM events as text, and keep it in a notepad doc or something.

Comment Notices Removed

So wait, now how am I to know if someone comments on my game? Do I keep going back and checking EVERYDAY to see if theres something new? C'mon man...

Final Fantasy Dreams

You probably are, because the new version has no missing files (or so the RMTool tells me), but its not a problem, just download this image:

and put it in your RTP's "Backdrop" folder

Final Fantasy Dreams

Yes you are. Remember that npc Phil? The exit is right beside him. Sorry if its not clear, first game and horrible mapping and all heh heh

Neunzehn

Once again man, that guy who did this, he's insane. Insanely good that is! Doesn't look like a chair now haha!

Legend of Vanadia

And it's an old video to boot. You ain't seen nothing yet.

Vanadia Project

Added Ocean to the game under "other" (as there is no "artist" or similar category). Ocean is just a great guy, he's helped me tons of times by drawing characters and things for me (and didn't ask for nothing in return). He drew the original character designs for this game back when the game was just an idea waiting to be realized.
