ATMAWEAPON'S PROFILE

I grew up nerdy and alone. It was awesome.

I can still remember staying up at night, controller in hand, my face illuminated by the pale glow of my tiny TV set. The games I played growing up were more than just a way to pass the time. I remember the stories, the characters, the music. Later I would make friends over common interests. We would bond over old titles like these because they made us feel something.

That's what I want to do... If one person stays up late, their face painted with that familiar light, and they feel something now like I felt something then... I'll know I made something worthwhile.

Sprint doesn't work.
Why do I have skills I already know in 'Learn skills' menu and why can I spend money/sp to learn them (and gain nothing)?

Sprinting requires the Casual Shoes accessory equipped on an active party member.

I'll look into that 'learn skills' issue tonight. Thank you for the heads up o/

*EDIT* - I just realized, if you're seeing learnable skills that are already learned you may have an older version.

Neverspring Chronicles: Phoenix Down Review

Wow! Thanks so much!

I'm not sure which version you played but the current download has had the combat rebalanced and expanded.

Thank you so much for the in depth (and kind!) review. I'm so excited :)

2D Artist/Editor Needed. Project in final testing.

Hey folks. o/

I have a project on here called Durance of Magic (working title). It's in the late stages of testing and currently available for download here on RMN.

I have a big favor to ask and I can pay if needed. Right now I have these little animated gear wheels that turn on the side of buildings in my game. These mechanical wheels are actually rips from Final Fantasy 5 and I need to get rid of them.

I've tried making my own but I am not a very good artist, especially when moving pixels are involved. I need some steampunk-ish gear wheels that can animate in a turning motion.

Feel free to check out Durance of Magic on here to see what I mean. Thanks for your time!

The download link seems to currently be down. I can't tell if that is intentional or not since 10/17/2019 was the last bug fix blog update.

Hey, thanks for letting me know! I guess the dropbox link expired or something but it's fixed now o/

Games freezes after player washes ashore.
It freezes even if other party is selected.

Thanks for the heads up, man. There was a rogue auto run event doing bad things from my last update.

All fixed now. Your save file will pick up where it left off without any issue.

Feedback Request 09/01/19

Thanks for getting back to me so quick o/

I'm actually excited to hear someone wants longer dungeons. They were longer initially but some of the people that have tested over the years complained that they were too long or too hard. (No pun intended with your colorful example lol)

I still have some of the older maps, and the dungeon lengths were bothering me so I think I'm going to be taking this feedback to heart. I'm examining the dungeon maps from some of the older RPGs I'm trying to honor with this project. I can map out dungeons as long as they need to be, I think my biggest challenge will be making them different and unique enough. I'm not very good at puzzle building or some of the other features traditionally used to break up dungeon monotony but I'm going to give it a go.

Thanks again, KyleLascar o/

Why dis gam dead? :(

edit: Hang on. When did you change the engine into MV? Are you still doing things with this?
For folks' reference, the Last Update before I posted this was in 2013. MV wasn't even announced yet :O

Yeah, I've been working on this one for a long time. I had it maybe 80% done on RPG Maker 2003, however I felt that so much time had passed that I should update to the MV engine with the main selling point being the idea of a cross platform release (PC and mobile). I have been working on this project off and on but I did take a break recently to make Stellar Punk, during which time I got waaaay better at using RPG Maker and even learning to code some on my own.

I'm trying to finish Stellar Punk by mid February 2019 then I will be diverting 100% of my efforts to finishing Durance of Magic.

I'm pleasantly surprised someone remembers this! :D

Final Update!!

Xenomic, great work! I haven't played yet but I am downloading it now. I'm working on my own project that's teetering at that "almost done" stage myself so I totally know the feeling of needing some testers. I'll dive in and give you some feed back when I can! o/
