I'm Ben_Random. I've been around since 2008 but I didn't really get active here since Super RMN Bros. 2. That, an unfinished game, and a couple of contests sums up what I've done with game making on this site. I find that my main purpose here is writing. I have a few tutorials out there, as well as some reviews on Mario fan games such as RMN Bros. or Mario V.S. the Moon Base.

Now with the internet the way it is these days, you can probably use just this information to stalk me.

So. Other than me(the creator) no one likes Sonic that's on this site. I don't know what's confusing you, and I'm guessing I was right, this isnn't the right place to put a contest thing that "I" created. I guess I could take in your idea for a random art contest and put it along with my idea, like make the best blockart picture you can with RPG maker, yeah, use tiles to make art. You don't have to do Sonic stuff.
No rules, just have fun and send it to me(post it here) for the voting, tell me if your in or not. Soniccompetition is destroyed gone, you don't have to do it anymore. If you don't like this idea than I'll quit this idea and you can do with this topic how you want to do it. Other than that. Just make tileart(use of a gamecreators tiles to make art) and get creatin'!


It's not that we have anything that were honest about against sonic. It's just that, I think you should get to know the site a little more before you start making contests. Start by posting on a video thread, or something in general discussion. Once you are a little more well known, then start making contests.

The reason I don't work with Renpy or 2kx, is because I haven't made templates for them. Not because I can't. If someone were to request a Renpy box, then sure, I could do it.
Also, there's no 20XX banner for him to work with yet anyway.


That's exactly the issue. I was thinking of just using a cool font, but if you can make one I would be... pleased.

GAH, the single pixel line on the left looks just as bad! I'd shorten the whole image by just that one pixel and call it a promo.

Yay! But also argh, now they look like they (the blocks) should be one more pixel to the right so they line up with the edge of the image. Also need to clean up the area around the base of the green pipe.
