According to the NPC, Miyagi, "Reversal" will set all characters' HP to 100% - their current percentage, which means a full HP character will drop to 0. KOed characters are treated as 0%, so they'll be fully revived. The only way to survive that move is to avoid having characters at full HP.

Is the ATB system supposed to flow during item and skill selection? I usually play FF games on wait mode instead of active, but I guess there's a first time for everything.

This made my day. Still, it would be awesome if there was another path where you get to play as a "prince" who selects dialogue choices instead of using the bot.

I think you get all the gadgets just by progressing in the game. The spikes require you to use one of the goggles/glasses type gadgets.

tbh, all I remember is that you have to use the Zippo on the pump a few times, but I'm not exactly sure how many times it takes. I wish Luster put a healing checkpoint between some of those puzzles in Mt. Gelado.

Food items and some skills actually allow you to buff your team before the battle starts, so that should prevent the need for grinding somewhat.

Lots of people hate Loki more than the final boss. At least once you're done with him the final boss (should be) a breeze... (Providing you didn't over level and bug out the poorly coded encounter, but if Loki is giving you trouble, that's not the case)
Oh snap, what happens if I overlevel? And what level would this bug happen at?
