I'm always nervous playing Growlanser: Generations because it feels like there'll be a hentai scene at any given moment.
Games ruled. I love them. Although that was before I knew the artist's history.
Most underrated and overrated RPGs
I really disliked the Lufia gameboy color game. To each their own though. I also heard bad things about the GBA game, which I didn't get around to buying. The SNES ones were good though.
Overrated: Xenosaga/gears. Personal hatred.
Underrated; 7th Saga/Brain Lord. I chose them not on some objective level, but because they're games I really like that are fairly unknown.

post=98002post=97916Exactly -- I don't think the game stands the test of time very well. I'd much rather play newer games. I didn't play this game in 1992 (more like 2002), so my perspective is different: the game was outdated when I played it, and it very much showed its age. I'm sure it was great for its time, but now I just don't see how it holds up to newer installments.
The gameplay is outdated compared to...what? Do you realize that this game was released almost 20 years ago? There wasn't much before it to call it outdated!
If you have the time, could you say which newer games in particular are better than FF5 in what way and why? I'm curious.

PSP - Why didn't I buy this earlier?
I bought a PSP a few months ago, and I could never really dig the loud sound it made when it loads.
Also, the only reason to get a PSP you need is Final Fantasy Tactics.
Due to loading times and battery issues, I'm only downloading games of the PSN now. I hope when the PSP go gets released all Square Enix's game are available.

Because they have a different system. I'm not saying our system is impossible to change or anything like that. But while the current system is in place, it's only respectful to follow it so people can get paid.
I agree with this and it's my pet peeve. I'm obligated to follow a dumb system. If not, I'm rude.

If people are getting an hourly wage, then tips are extra. If they need tips, it assumes their hourly wage is insufficient. If that's the case, it should be rectified, and tipping should die the death it deserves. Other countries do it, things don't go to hell, and people get paid enough. The differences are customers are paying the price it says on the menu, and not the price on the menu plus tax plus tip, and the restaurant staff knows exactly how much money they will make.
