Dragon Quest IX

I don't mean to always counter what you say vid wizard, but I'm not sure if that's true. This is the first Dragon Quest game to get a perfect score, it's not like they all get perfect scores.

Pet Peeves, turn offs, and other things that piss you off.

I bet their pet peeve is those damn people with their cruise control.

DSi

I couldn't find a topic about this. I looked. Sorry if I missed it.

Does anyone have one? How is it compared to the DS lite? Ever since I bought a PSP, my DS lite screen seems so puny to me, so I'm thinking of getting the DSi, but it is overpriced, and a .8cm isn't that amazing.

Any thoughts from people who have one? I hear while they're selling like hotcakes in Japan, they're not doing so hot in NA.

Dragon Quest IX

Umm... it's probably going to be the best selling DS game of all time in Japan and the best selling Dragon Quest, so that's not really a small Japanese market. I can't see if selling 5 million copies in America.

2.34 million copies in 2 days. I really can't wait until payday.

FFXII What do you think?

Now that I think about it, my problem with XII was that I would beat bosses by using those giant summoning or whatever attacks that requires to hit buttons at certain times and get combos, so all my characters could use all three levels of those, but when all my MP was gone and if they didn't work, I'd have no chance of beating the boss. This lead to my characters being really really weak, and only having the skill of using those giant summons, which eventually weren't enough.

The American Dream

If- as a Canadian- I discard any sort of negative opinion of America that comes from pop culture, and really let the massive cultural influence of America come out of hiding and let itself have room to think and breathe and applied this concept of the American dream to what I consider it for myself, I think it would be about having the freedom to move where you want, to quit the job you don't like, to start a new life when you want, and to provide for those you love.

Ladies and gentlemen, the run-on sentence.

On the right.

Pet Peeves, turn offs, and other things that piss you off.

When people say then instead of than is kind of gets to me. I'm not sure why that grammatical error specifically bugs me.

People who think that the reason no one is understanding what they're saying is because everyone just "doesn't get it".

People trying to look cool posting on an internet forum. It's an internet forum. Any chance of looking cool is discarded by that simple fact.

Dragon Quest IX

It was going to be an action/rpg until fan outrage stopped it from happening.

Dragon Quest IX

I don't think IV to VI are too too similar. They both have similar place names, but I think that's about it. Perhaps it's the sort of "1000 years in the past/future" sort of thing.

I to III are the directly linked ones. II is a direct sequel, and III is a direct prequel (very similar to Lufia II).
