I'm Ciel. I'm very old and have been into the RPG Maker scene for ages. I love it basically because I enjoy seeing what interesting or immersive worlds and stories people come up with, which is why I like the usual favorites of Naufragar, Ara Fell, Rose Chronicles, etc. Word on the street is, I'm secretly a member of a very famous rock band. (I don't know where these rumors come from, man.) I'm mainly a composer and spend most of my time in my little studio working on personal projects and contract work, but I do a lot of writing and study art as a hobby. I'm working on a game for which I'm writing the story, composing the soundtrack, drawing the character art, and piecing together the game systems with my meager but unconventionally effective programming skills. (Real coders would be aghast at my methods.) It's taking a very long time but I'm very enthusiastic about it. I listen to loads of game soundtracks and classic/prog rock. My favorite games/series are Castlevania, Valkyrie Profile, and almost any action adventure game on SNES.

I'm concerned about the resolution, since I did a ton of graphical work specifically for 640x480. Maybe it'll work out fine anyway?

The game I'm working on employs a lot of musical elements in the story and gameplay, but is intended to work in somewhat of a realistic/serious way. Not like "play flute to destroy demons heh".
