False Skies

So there's no way of skipping skills unless you class up early? Since I heard you can't return to early classes.
What about the growths, can you cripple a characters by having it in a bad class for long or are growths a percentage applied to total stats?
EDIT. Sorry for being so annoying with my questions but I'm the type to want to get everything in a game. I hope you are not taking this the wrong way.

False Skies

Is there a guide to create good characters? I though the classes had individual levels but if its tied to your char lvl then it's easy to screw up.

Ruin Hacker

Random growths + random drops for even the most basic things are usually a mood killer for my hoarder/collectionist mentality but your game is good enough to forgive that.

Ruin Hacker

Thanks for the detailed explanation! Since the game has random growths I made sure to find those tomes or I could end with seriously crippled characters.

Ruin Hacker

Could you give us some hints? Most of the game is pretty intuitive but some things can be a bit annoying without proper info, like what do exactly every stat do or how to obtain the blood stones and reawakening book. I have every book except the gladiator one and the extra enemies in the maps don't drop it.

Umbral Soul

How's the game going? It's strange how only your game makes me behave like an annoying leecher (release when) but it's just that good.

EDITED 2: FOUND THE PROBLEM! I downloaded and ran the RPG Maker 2000 RTP installation .exe and it worked! Which is very bizarre to me as I know I have played RPG Maker 2000 games on this computer before and I think I recall installing it, but maybe those didn't need the RTP? Or I had other version of the RTP (maybe I am confusing 2003 with 2000 games, I dunno)? But now I can play the game no problem. Sorry for the trouble, it feels pretty stupid asking and shortly after finding the problem on my own haha. Disregard the rest of this comment, and let me use this opportunity for thanking you for the translation!

Hello,

I was interested in trying this game and it seems I found some kind of bug that makes it so the game cannot play the intro properly. As I haven't been able to find any contact info on the translation author, I decided to post the error here in hopes they see it.

This is the error message I get:

(If the image doesn't show, the error is "Cannot open file People1")

I could not find any such file in the Data folder, so it seems it might be a problem with a missing file on the download? By selecting "Skip the intro", it is possible to start the game without watching the intro cutscene and it seems to be working fine, but I only tried for a moment (didn't leave the house) and I don't know if that missing file could generate more problems past the intro.

EDIT: I tried leaving the house after skipping the intro and got the same error. Seems the graphics for the townspeople are missing, probably?
Got the same error installed the rtp and works perfectly, when a game is as small as this one it means that you need the rtp.
Any pointers about miscellaneous things? Like hunting the Koos and missable things?

Progress Report and Feature Update

Sadly I can't help you with that, just ask you that the difficulties don't include saving limitations or exp/money/drops cuts for playing in the hardest difficulty, lot's of games do that and it's a chore rather than hard to play that way.

Progress Report and Feature Update

I would like to recommend extra difficulty mode, once you are on a roll only a few fights are hard and this is one of the few games that deserve the grind/extra time to strategize.
Once we have the "walkthrough" to avoid missables and the extra difficulty I think your game will be in an all-time wall of fame.

Monster World RPG

A bit late but I'm enjoying this marvel, though sometimes mini-games make me ragequit, like the karaoke one, I can solve the others with a bit of tenacity but I absolutely LOATHE the karaoke, is there a way to cheat it like determined patterns or something?
