DS Games for Christmas
I'v been playing it for the past two days and I must say that while at first it's a clever game with good 2D graphics, it becomes repetitive and tedious very fast. I put it down permanently halfway through the second scenario. The battles have become annoyingly sluggish; it takes forever for the AI to finish their turn. I'm surprised there is no option of skipping enemy movement animations, since you can do exactly nothing during their turn and it generates much downtime.
All in all it's more akin to a puzzle game that a strategy game. If you liked Puzzle Quest then M&M might interest you, it's just that there's really nothing going on apart from battling, and all battles against the same race are very similar, as there are few unit types. There are some story battles with a twist (hit both levers at the same time, don't hit an NPC etc.), but restricted game mechanics make them a nightmare to beat, since you have so little control over your army.

Release Something! IX: something about cats
OK, I think I'm going to release the maps I've done for a project I scrapped some time ago (this one: http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/22919.htm )
It'll be just some empty maps you can "explore" and admire my mapping skills (haha), nothing fancy.

Check the main post, at the top of the page.
Let's see if I manage to whip something up. Having trouble coming up with a scenario to allow the player to play as the opposing side, even if for just one scene.
Theme:
Opposites! Your game must directly involve two opposing ideals, forces, or elements. Examples would be magnetic polarity, lightside vs. darkside, etc. BUT your game must allow you to play both sides.

Boss Project V: Dead Space
150 MB is big? In this day and age? Come on.
I'll actually give it a try; hope it's better balanced than its predecessor.
