Grave Spirit

I don't have enough to say to justify a full review, but this game is very very good. 4.5/5. It's well-designed and the original graphics and music are very effective in creating atmosphere. Dialogue is slightly rough in places but that's a very minor nitpick. The only other thing was that once you figure out where to go next, it takes a long time to travel there because movement speed is so slow (and repeatedly using the dash attack gets tiresome).

I need a few beta testers!

I'll play it if you want, but I can't guarantee you'll get a speedy response. I will be thorough though. (I have the full version downloaded but the second time I tried it I duplicated the Shogun -> party leader bug found by someone else and the game froze. I will inevitably try it again and again anyway...)

[Rm2k3] Show Picture is erased after teleporting to new map

Continuing the off-topic discussion of parallel processes: is it okay to use them for hotkeys (Quest Log in Intellia), or is there a better way?

My game is out

Where is it?

The Abyss

Downloaded file doesn't work. It looks like it's not the game file at all. Try using the Game Disk function in RMXP.

Due to the resurfacing of a multitude bugs I eliminated back in NOVEMBER...

I got this error which stopped me battling the three goons (the first battle):

First impression is that it looks good. Hopefully you can sort out the error.

The Last(?) Release SOMETHING!: Dungeon Quest

Bug report:

Playing as the Greedy Dwarf: I collected 5 scrolls and blasted X-whatshisface 5 times but he didn't die. Then when I fought the demon the game went into a loop of messages about fighting and the choices menu.

Dear Abby,

Dear Brandon,

I'm not sure you will appreciate advice from a relatively new member of RMN but here goes.

From a cognitive therapy sort of approach: I suggest that the next time you open your old game, just sit there for a long while and let the darkness come back. It doesn't matter if you get nothing done. Eventually, the bad memories will stop and you won't feel them as intensely the next time you open the game, because you just sat through the worst of it. Remind yourself that it's just a game. It doesn't need to be associated with where you were at the time you put it together. It has an existence of its own.

Sincerely,
Abby
